A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS ADOPTING
THE SECTION 3 PLAN OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u) AS IT APPLIES TO
THE DISASTER RECOVERY PROJECTS ADMINISTERED BY THE
GENERAL LAND OFFICE, AS AMENDED, IT REQUIRES THAT THE
CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS ENSURE THAT TRAINING,
EMPLOYMENT AND OTHER ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES
GENERATED BY CERTAIN HUD FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
SHALL, TO THE GREATEST EXTENT FEISABLE, BE GIVEN TO
LOW AND VERY LOW INCOME PERSONS, PARTICULARLY
THOSE WHO ARE RECEIPANTS OF GOVERNMENTAL
ASSISTANCE FOR HOUSING, AND TO BUSINESSES THAT
PROVIDE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR THESES PERSONS.
