H.R. No. 1083
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, It has long been the custom of the House of Representatives of the State of
Texas to honor the children of its members by electing them to the office of mascot; and
WHEREAS, A roster of mascot candidates eligible for this special recognition under the rules
of this house has been compiled; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas Legislature hereby elect
the following children of house members to the honorary office of mascot:
Audrey Luna Capelo and Berkeley Sol Capelo, daughters of Representative Jaime Capelo;
Catherine Ann Cuellar, daughter of Representative Henry Cuellar;
Reagan Edward Davis, Samuel Frederic Davis, and Gaston Costner Davis, sons of
Representative John Davis;
Blake Kincaid Eiland, daughter of Representative Craig Eiland;
Kristopher Wade Ellis, son of Representative Dan Ellis;
Nancy Farabee, Wortham Farabee, and Russell Farabee, children of Representative David
Farabee;
Elizabeth Frances George and Clement Roberdeau George, children of Representative Kenn
George;
Trey Green, son of Representative Rick Green;
Will Hartnett, Jr., son of Representative Will Hartnett;
Haley Claire Hilderbran, daughter of Representative Harvey Hilderbran;
Hanna Ray Homer, daughter of Representative Mark Homer;
Ethan Gratia Hupp, son of Representative Suzanna Hupp;
Mary Elizabeth Isett, daughter of Representative Carl Isett;
Ryan Edward Janek, son of Representative Kyle Janek;
Avery Mayo Lewis, son of Representative Ron Lewis;
Jose Miguel Gonzalez, son of Representative Vilma Luna;
Hannah King, Mary King, Leah King, and Josh King, children of Representative Phil King;
Clayton Baker King, son of Representative Tracy O. King;
Richard Joel Noriega, Jr., son of Representative Rick Noriega;
Zoraida Araceli Solis and Juan Francisco Solis IV, children of Representative Juan F. Solis
III; and
Carlos Alberto Uresti, son of Representative Carlos Uresti; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That pictures of the mascots appear on the picture panel of the Texas House of
Representatives and that an official certificate be prepared for each mascot as a memento of this
honor.
