Imaging of the Aortic Root is very important for the success of TAVI. Today there are
multiple modalities that can be used to evaluate the suitability of the aortic root for
TAVI. The strengths and weaknesses of each of these modalities are different as
related to TAVI. The need of prospective randomized trials to come up with a
goldstandard modality is critical
