“PARTY LIKE A REBEL” – 2008 Appaloosa Gelding (Rebel Jeb Stuart X Coolest Party Girl (AQHA) X
Coolest (AQHA)). “Rebel” is a solid colored Chestnut Appaloosa gelding that stands 16.0 hands. He was bred to
be a halter horse and he is as pretty as they come, but he did not achieve the mass that was needed to be an

head attitude and has started proving that he is an awesome hunter type horse in the show ring. “Count” has the
size, the movement and the attitude to be a really good one. “Count” was in training with Rusty Miller and headed
to the Nationals in 2011 to compete in the 3 Year Old Hunter Under Saddle Class. “Count” has his performance

“MI FORTUNE HUNTER” – 2004 Appaloosa Mare. (The Hunter X Brand New Toy by Principle Investment)
“Lacey” is a gorgeous 16.1 hand colored chestnut mare that was started as a two year old, ridden lightly as a three
and four year old, and now as a five year old - in full time training for the show ring with Gary Cunningham. I
acquired the mare as a yearling in my endless search for quality mares and I was fortunate to run across “Lacey”
and to be able to acquire her. Plans were to add her to the broodmare band when she became the right age, but she
has displayed such a talent for moving that we have decided to ready her for the show ring instead. “Lacey” will
be noticed in the show ring with her gorgeous coloring, her flaxen mane and tail, and those lovely white spots
across her hips. Expect to see “Lacey” in the show ring in the future as you will not be able to miss her with her
sweepy trot and smooth moves.
“TWO EYED HUNTER” – 2002 Appaloosa Gelding. (The Hunter X Two Eyed Scamp). “Buddy” is solid
colored chestnut gelding and stands at 16.2 hands. He is handsome enough to make a great showing in a halter
class, he has the moves and has proven that he is an outstanding pleasure horse. He is not only a handsome horse,
but he has a big eye, a heart of gold, and a really good mind. He was professionally trained by Dodie Howard of
Dodie Howard Quarter Horses and was presented at the 2004 World Show where he finished in the Top 10 in the
Two Year Old Snaffle Bit Hunter Under Saddle Class. He returned to the World Show in 2005 and won the title
of “World Champion Three Year Old Hunter Under Saddle”. “Buddy” is a natural hunter type horse and he is
typical of the hunter type horses that Carousel Farm is raising. “Buddy” took on the task of becoming an all
around mount in 2012 and not only excels in the Hunter Under Saddle classes, but can also do a slow jog and
participated in Western Pleasure classes as an all around horse for Catherine Dunnagan in the Non–Pro classes.
Watch for “Two Eyed Hunter” as an all around horse in 2016. He can do it all.
STALLIONS………………
“BRING IT ON” - 2009 Appaloosa Colt – (Always In The Mood X AlyLampLight) – Foaled - May 11, 2009.
“MJ” This colt is the spitting image of his sire, but a bay version. This colt will definitely get noticed in the show
ring. This colt is a full brother to the 2009 National Champion Hunter In Hand – Yearling Gelding – “Give Me A
Chance”. We have big hopes for this colt in the show ring. He has the size, the movement and the color to be one
of the really good ones and he is going to live up to his name. Shown on the show circuit for 2011and 2012 and in
the Top 10 in the Nation in Hunter In Hand Stallions and Two/Three Year Old Stallions. Shown in 2015 and
currently leading the nation in Aged Stallions and Open HIH Stallions and NP HIH Staliions.
“ALWAYS IN THE MOOD” – 2003 Appaloosa Stallion. (The Hunter X Two Precious) “Moody” is a highly
colored chestnut stallion with white tips on his ears. He has a gorgeous head. He is a good minded stallion and a
super mover. His sire speaks for himself and Two Precious was not only a World Champion Western Pleasure
horse, but she also had her Superior in Halter as well as her Superior in Western Pleasure. “Moody” has been
shown at the World’s as a weanling and as a yearling, and as a Two Year Old in the 2 Year Old Western Pleasure
Class where he made the finals at the World Show. He has had two years of professional training for Western
Pleasure. He can perform the slow legged lope that is required to win as a Western Pleasure horse and he is fit
and ready to be shown. “Moody” started breeding in 2007 and produced 5 offspring in 2008. They were all really
nice foals and super movers. “Moody” was bred to 8 mares in 2008 and we received another sensational crop of
foals in 2009. “Moody” is not only standing at stud at Carousel Farm for 2014, but he is being fitted to return to
the show ring as a personal mount for Catherine Dunnagan. (Note: One of the first of Moody’s foal crop from
2008, “Give Me A Chance” out of “AlyLampLight” became a National Champion in the Hunter In Hand –
Yearling Gelding. “Always In The Mood” is now a Medallion Producing Sire having sired a National
Champion.)
Always In The Mood has been recognized by the ApHC, Inc. as one of the leading sires for the foals that he has
produced for 2014 and 2015. We expect that to continue as more of Moody’s foals enter the show ring and for
Always In The Mood to be a stallion that is recognized for producing quality foals. He is currently the sire of
several horses that are leading the nation in Halter, Hunter In Hand and has foals that are appearing in the Top 10
in the Nation in several Performance classes.
BROODMARES…………………
“CRUCIALLY ACCLAIMED” – 2002 Appaloosa Mare. (Lads Straw Man X Two Precious) “Prissy” is a very
pretty solid colored chestnut filly out of an outstanding mare and by an outstanding sire. She has the breeding, the
looks and the moves to be an exceptional pleasure horse in the show ring. “Prissy” was professionally trained in
2004 by Dodie Howard and was presented at the 2004 World Championships in the Two Year Old Snaffle Bit
Western Pleasure Class where the horse made it to the finals of the class, but did not place in the final top 10.
“Prissy” is not only an exceptional Western Pleasure horse with a 10+ lope, she has a long trot that makes her an
excellent candidate for an all around horse for a Youth or Non-Pro, and she has exceptional breeding to make her
a future broodmare when you are finished showing and winning with her. “Prissy” was bred to “The Hunter” in
2006 and produced a gorgeous filly. She is open at this time and could easily return to the show ring or be rebred
to a stallion of your choice. “Prissy” was been bred to Zips Dark Chocolate for an early 2015 foal and produced a
fantastic moving colored filly. “Prissy” was bred to “Zippin Dirty” for a 2016 foal.
“ALY LAMPLIGHT” – 1999 Thoroughbred Mare. (Wheaton X LillyByLampLight) “Aly” is a beautiful 16.2
hand registered thoroughbred mare that came to me from the race track. She is really good minded and has settled
into being a pleasure horse and possible hunter inspite of her having raced on the track. She has a gorgeous slow
lope and an awesome trot. “Aly” is destined for great things. She is beautiful, good minded and a great mover for
anyone looking for a horse to hit the Hunter circuit in a fancy way. “Aly” was leased by Dodie Howard during
2004 and bred to the AQHA stallion – “Kelvis” and she produced a nice filly in 2005. In 2006, “Aly” was crossed
with an own son of Invitation Only for a 2007 foal and she produced a very nice Appendix AQHA filly. “Aly”
was bred to our Appaloosa Stallion - “Always In The Mood” for 2007 and has found her ideal cross with this
Stallion as they produced an awesome colt that was purchased by Wendy Shuknecht. Wendy took “Give Me A
Chance” and showed him to become the National Champion Hunter In Hand Yearling Gelding at the 2009
National Show. This gelding is a good one. “Aly” was rebred to “Always In The Mood” for 2009 and we
presented us with a bay colored version of his sire even down to the white tips on his ears. This is the dam of our
junior stallion – “Bring It On”. Due to late foaling, AlyLampLight was not rebred for 2010. “Aly” was bred to
The Hunter in 2010 and presented us with a large solid colored bay filly that is a gorgeous version of her dam.
We rebred “Aly” to “Always In The Mood” for 2014 and she produced us a colored filly that we named “To
Pleasure A Lady”. “Aly” was rebred to “Always In The Mood” for 2016.
“LUKING FOR YOU” – 2002 Appaloosa Mare (Luke At Me X Tasha Special Tea) “Luka” is a 16 hand liver
chestnut mare with regular papers and she is a full sister to the well known stallion – Mr. Cool Hand Luke.
“Luka” came to us as a trained horse from the show ring and we added her to our broodmare collection as an
excellent prospect for breeding with French Accent. “Luka” was bred in 2008 for an upcoming foal expected in
late March of 2009 and produced for us a colored filly. “Luka” was rebred to French Accent for 2010 and
produced a second colored filly. “Luka” is kind and sweet and could easily return to the show ring. She has the
moves of a World Class hunter under saddle and should pass along her abilities to move in her offspring. Nancy
Sue Ryan considered the crossing of these bloodlines to produce quality horses and we are only repeating what
formula she has proven is a super combination. This mare was crossed with “Always In The Mood” for 2012 and
produced us a fantastic liver chestnut colt that screams Hunter Under Saddle. We felt that this was such a good
combination and the mare far exceeded herself with producing this colt that she was rebred for 2013. “Luka”
produced us a dun colored filly in 2013 that is screaming hunter under saddle like her full brother. In foal to
“Always In The Mood” for 2014 and produced us the colt that we named – “Do Not Disturb”. This colt entered
the show ring in 2015 and has accumulated numerous points in the Lunge Line, HIH and Yearling Stallion Halter
classes. “Luka” was left open for 2015 and rebred to “Moody” for an early 2016 foal. This mare has done
nothing but produce outstanding foals – easy to breed and excellent mother to her foals.
“ALL HANDS OFF ZIP” – 2001 Appaloosa Mare (All Hands On Zip X Truly A Treat). “Gracie” is a large 16+
hand colored daughter of All Hands On Zip. “Gracie” came to my ownership by way of Sue Schembri. Sue knew
that I was looking for mares to breed to French Accent to try and produce another line of hunter type horses in the
Appaloosas world and she told me of this mare as she might be a nice addition to my program. I have not been
disappointed as we bred “Gracie” to “French Accent” in 2008 and she produced us a very nice large chestnut filly
early in February. “Gracie” is being rebred to “French Accent” for 2010 and produced a colored colt in 2011.
The cross with the thoroughbred was an excellent combination. “Gracie” is for sale and is green broke to ride.
We are not sure of her history, but the mare is missing an eye as I understand that it was removed at Cornell due
to an injury earlier in her life, but it has not prevented her from being an excellent broodmare and a very good
mother and easy breeder. This mare has been such a good producer for us that we bred her early in 2011 to
“Always In The Mood” and we were presented with a huge colored colt. We were so happy with this combination
that “Gracie” was rebred for 2013 and produced another large colored colt. She has been rebred the same way for
2014 and can be purchased as a 3 – in – 1 package. Open for 2016.
“THE LADY HUNTER” – 2000 Appaloosa Mare (The Hunter X Two Eyed Lady) “Whitney” is an over 16
hands bay roan Appaloosa daughter of “The Hunter”. I was excited when I was able to purchase this mare as I
wanted some colored daughters of “The Hunter” in my breeding program. This mare certainly did not disappoint
me when we crossed her with “French Accent”. “Whitney” produced a colored filly in 2007 and we had really
high hopes for the filly until she broke her leg as a yearling. “Whitney” was rebred to “French Accent” for 2008
SOLD and an awesome mover. “Whitney” came into my
and produced a colored colt and he is gorgeous, spectacular
ownership as a trained show horse, she is very easy to ride and settles right back into a riding routine. So you can
return her to the show ring or continue to use her as a fantastic broodmare. “Whitney” was not bred in 2008 and
in 2009 was bred to “French Accent” for a 2010 foal and she produced another colored colt. The decision was
made to bred this mare to “Zips Dark Chocolate” for 2012. We were happy with the results of this breeding as
“Whitney” produced a black colt that is destined for the show ring. We feel that both horses have complimented
each other.
“IAM COUNTRY DAZZLER” – 1998 Appaloosa Mare (Zipposcountryboy by Zippo Pine Bar X Habitazzle
JC) “Dazzle” has had an extensive career in the show ring and she came to Carousel Farm to move into the role of

pass along her excellent qualities to her offspring. “Dazzle” is a solid colored bay mare that stands about 15.3
hands, has a gorgeous neck, super build andSOLD
flat kneed movement. Her pedigree screams as she is a
granddaughter of Zippo Pine Bar. “Dazzle” was bred in early 2009 to “Always In The Mood” for a 2010 foal and
she produced us a fantastic moving colt. We left her open for 2011 and she was rebred in 2011 to “Always In The
Mood for an early 2012 offspring – a filly. We are expecting a great mixture of bloodlines with this combination.
“THIS IS PRIVATE” – 1999 Appaloosa Mare (Private Collection X This Ladys Money) “Jessie” is a solid
colored daughter of Private Collection that was brought to Carousel Farm to be one of the first mares bred to
“Always In The Mood”. “Jessie” foaled a stunning colt in 2008 – the perfect little western pleasure horse. He is a
fantastic mover and destined for a show home. Expect to see this colt in the show ring in the future. “Jessie” has
been bred to “Always In The Mood” – six times with her last foal being a colored yearling colt that is currently
leading the nation as the Open Yearling Stallion for 2015. “Jessie” has been bred to “Always In The Mood” for
an early 2016 foal.

gave us a colored filly sired by “Always In The Mood”.

to “Always In The Mood” for 2014. In foal to Always In The Mood for 2016 foal.
“SISTER JOYCE” – 2006 Thoroughbred Mare (Rock and Roll (TB) X Gary’s Gal (TB) “Stretch” is exactly
that……..she is a 17+ hand chestnut Thoroughbred Mare. It seems that “Always In The Mood” allows the mare
to determine the size of the resulting offspring, so we thought that we would test our theory and we started
searching for some really tall and great looking thoroughbred
SOLD mares with good movement. “Moody” seems to
have crossed very well with thoroughbred mares. Thus we lucked upon “Stretch”. She will be bred to “Moody”
for a 2013 foal and if she can produce her own legs on the resulting foal……..watch out. “Stretch” produced a
colored colt for 2013 and is due rebred to “Always In The Mood” for 2014.

has a fantastic move on her. She is very, very flat kneed and slow legged and has a long trot that will challenge
