Hédiard’s new Oil Collection epitomises 160 years of savoir-faire offering unique, original

succulent varieties of olives and nuts, sought out the most renowned olive groves as well as
those that are jealously guarded and for the exceptional oils range; Hédiard has gone back to
the very source and has created the Hédiard Plantation.

meetings, the beauty of the land and the passion of the producer, an exceptional savoir-faire
that is both audacious, respectful of traditions and of the environment in order to satisfy both
enthusiasts and the most demanding connoisseurs.
This prestigious collection is presented in precious bottles that introduce Hédiard’s new brand
identity.
Journey to the heart of the Hédiard Plantation
The Hédiard olive grove is located in the heart of Sicily, in the Castelvetrano region. The 50year-old olive trees flourish in a vitamin rich soil and are at the perfect age to produce
extremely fragrant olives. The olives that are of the exclusive Nocerella variety are harvested
by hand and then transferred in less than 12 hours to the mill in Custonaci that is the only one
of its kind in the world. The “Delicate” oil is produced from olives that are stoned before
being pressed and the “Intense” oil comes from whole olives. These two extra virgin olive oils
reveal a flavour that is respectively mild or strong and are highly renowned for their
organoleptic qualities.

NOCELLARA DELICATE

An olive oil with a creamy texture characterised by a slightly spicy taste with floral notes.

The force of tradition:
From Italy to Portugal, passing through France and Spain, Hédiard has scoured the
Mediterranean basin in search of the estates and typical olive varieties reputed for their
organoleptic properties, in order to propose four premium single-variety olive oils.
BIANCOLILLA OLIVE OIL
Located in western Sicily, the Premiati Oleifici Barbera olive grove has the perfect climate for
cultivating Biancolilla olive trees. This variety of olive is recognized for its lightness on the
palate and its delicate yet sustained aroma. The olive oil is full-bodied and reveals light
almond notes.
TASTING SUGGESTIONS: Use as a seasoning for white fish, vegetable soups or bruschettas.
BOUTEILLAN OLIVE OIL
Located in the "Haut-Var" French region, the Taurenne estate benefits from an ideal soil and
climate to cultivate leafy fruitiness, with herbaceous notes as well as green banana and
"herbes de garrigues". 500 ml bottle

ARBEQUINE OLIVE OIL
Located in the heart of Andalusia , the olive grove selected by the Hédiard's experts is planted
with Arbequine olives, one of the most renowned olive varieties in Spain. This olive is well
known for its very fruity, mild taste and small size. The oil reveals a green intense fruitiness
with hints of apple, banana and green almond.

GALEGA OLIVE OIL
Located in Redondo, Portugal, the Galega olive variety selected by Hédiard comes from
ancestral olive trees that in some cases are over 1000 years old. Galega olive is well known
for its mild and fruity character. The oil has a light fruitiness of ripe olives, with marked hints
of apple and a discreet touch of fresh green leaves.

NUT OILS
SESAME OIL
This oil is obtained through a first cold pressing followed by paper filtration. The seeds,
harvested in Mali, are lightly roasted before grinding, giving the oil its unique taste.
Rich in phospholipids and in essential fatty acids, it reveals a delicate flavour, with a sweet
fragrance.

Use to bring an oriental flavour to vegetables, seafood and meat and for cooking in a wok.
ARGAN OIL
This oil is produced according to ancestral Moroccan traditions. Rare and precious, Argan oil
has been known for centuries for its many virtues.
With a honey colour, Argan oil develops musky and grilled peanut aromas with a light
hazelnut finish.

HAZELNUT OIL
This oil is extracted from crushed hazelnuts to form a paste which is then cooked in a
