Specialized experience: Applicants that wish to qualify for the GS-07 level or equivalent must meet the Individual Occupational Requirements below and identify in their resume that they possess one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS-05) or equivalent, which includes assisting in operation of a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or Agreement State licensed facility, preparing radioactive material shipments, and following NRC, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and/or regulations pertaining to handling, shipping and receiving radioactive materials.
