TYPICAL AREAS OF INVOLVEMENT: 1) Medico-Legal Reports in personal injury cases, including injuries sustained at work. 2) Assessment and treatment of trauma, chronic pain, PTSD and other conditions. 3) Assessment in Fitness to Practice cases. 4) Psychological assessment and treatment of offenders, including assessment of intelligence and suggestibility. Reports have been provided for both Claimant (60%) and Defendant lawyers and insurers (40%), and since April 1999, single joint instructions. Clients are typically seen within 2 weeks of instruction and reports are prepared within 10 days of this. I have given evidence in Court, at GMC hearings and Mental Health Review Tribunals and have prepared over 300 reports. I have received training in report writing and have also completed the Bond Solon Certificate in Civil Procedure Rules for Expert Witnesses. Clients are usually seen at my clinic near Cambridge, but home visits are also possible.
