It offers a general discussion of the fundamental morphological notions and theoretical issues. It also presents a wide range of morphological patterns in a variety of languages. It provides students who aim to explore languages or dialects of Chinese of their own choice with necessary research tools. Handouts are distributed in class and readings are announced in class. GRADING 1. Class discussion (30%) 2. One oral presentation (20%). June 5, 2013. Make sure you have the slide number on your PPT handout. 3. Term paper (50%).
