SYLLABUS
1. Course Title: Algebra II
2. Course Description: Algebra II is a continuation of Algebra I. Rational and Irrational
equations and functions will be covered. There will be an introduction to probability and
sequences. Trig functions will be introduced. The Foil Method and factorizing quadratics
as well as the quadratic formula are covered in depth. Solving equations are continually
reviewed. A TI-83 graphing calculator is required.
3. Credit Hours: 1 credit hour (2 semesters)
4. Course Prerequisites: Algebra I and Geometry
5. Course Times: 1st Hour (7:40-9:14) and 2nd Hour (9:18-10:29)
