Social Studies – Extra
Credit
Students will have opportunities to earn extra credit grades for Social
Studies from now until the end of the year!
Requirements:
I. AR extra credit:

Students may read a historical fiction, autobiography, 3 biographies, or 3 state
AR books.

Students must test on the book and make an 80 or above.

Fill out an extra-credit slip and turn it in to Mrs. Cates.

Students will receive a 100 extra-credit daily grade.
You may read and test over as many books as you want during a 9-week period.
This is an unlimited extra-credit opportunity.
** This also counts toward AR points in Reading**

2. Famous American Clues:
Monday – Friday students will write down clues for the Famous American of
the week. On Friday students will turn in all five clues and their guess. Correct
guesses will receive a daily extra credit 100.
