Invitation to Join the Animal Advocacy Network of Indiana: The Animal Advocacy Network of Indiana (AANI) is an e-mail based network that was established to provide a source of information on animal-related issues in Indiana, and a means of easily communicating with other animal welfare advocates. The over 240 AANI members include staff from animal shelters and rescue groups, volunteers, and citizens. If you haven’t been involved in advocating for animals before, this is a great way to get started! It is a network for anyone who is interested in following and getting involved with animal-related issues! The AANI network consists of e-mails on the following: Local, state, national, and international animal-related news Animal-related bills at the state and federal levels Announcements of animal-related events, meetings, and trainings Call to action on local animal issues Requesting and sharing information resources with each other The AANI network also provides the following information and fact sheets: The compilation of Indiana's animal-related laws (updated annually) Information on animal-related bills How to find out who your elected officials are How to contact your legislators Pointers on testifying Links to the Indiana General Assembly Links to other animal welfare web sites and more... It truly is a pleasure for me to be able to provide this service and to work with others who also care about the welfare of animals. Joining the AANI network is FREE!
