Feb 2009 to May 2009 – “Selection of suitable synbiotic and microencapsulation of probiotic
for value addition to some indigenous dairy product” from National Dairy Research Institute

Objectives accomplished:
 Selection of suitable probiotic Lactobacillus and Inulin combination.
 Microcapsulation of selected Lactobacillus in alginate microsphere.
 Preparation of synbiotic shrikhand and Kulfi by incorporating Inulin, and free and
Encapsulated Lactobacillus.

1. Exposing buffalo oocytes to elevated temperature during IVM hindered it to crawl
