Historical Society usually meets at 7:00 p.m.,
on the third Saturday of each month except
June, July, August, and December at Roseville
Lutheran Church in Roseville, MN. (Please
check our website to confirm current meeting
location and date.) After a short business
meeting, we have a program presented by a
chapter member or invited guest.

Chapter amenities and activities include:
Subscribers receive the Northstar News,
our monthly chapter newsletter, which
contains information on upcoming meetings,
local rail news, historical articles, and other
features. Members also receive the National
Railway Bulletin and the NRHS News,
quarterly and bi-monthly publications of the
National Railway Historical Society.

Over the years we have enjoyed rail
excursions over the Wisconsin Central, the
Algoma Central, and North Shore Scenic
Railroads and bus trips to the Mid Continent
Railway Museum, the Boone & Scenic Valley
Railroad and other railroad sites.

We played a large part in the 2009 NRHS
convention, we hosted the January 2008
RPCA conference, hosted the 2004 NRHS
convention and the 1996 NRHS Spring Board
of Directors meeting. We recently acquired the
publishing rights to the Minnesota Rail
Calendar. We also have an extensive railroad
research library, open to members.

Group outings include summer picnics
adjacent to a busy stretch of main line
trackage, rail excursions, and other group
railfan events. A holiday banquet rounds out
our year in December.
