TVFSON Sample Tracks by specialty area for current curriculum
All Masters students enroll in Core courses. Specialty courses are offered on a rotating basis.
Semester 1 (Fall 1)
Nursing 203 (1 unit pre/co-requisite) special
sessions offered in Fall semester only or if there is
a cohort of at least 15 student in the Spring. This
course is an intro to using the various web based
platforms on campus and assists students with
getting started with CANVAS and the other
platforms
Semester 2 (Spring 1)
Nurs 200 (3 units regular session)
Nurs 204 (3 units regular session)

Support course associated with the selected
specialty area or course in specialty area available.

depending on number of students.

If the Research Project is completed and all
coursework is completed at the end of this
semester , and the candidate completes the Oral
presentation and submits the manuscript for
publication, the candidate may graduate at the
end of the semester. However, if there are
remaining requirements to meet, the candidate
would plant to graduate in Semester 7 or Fall
semester (semester7) rather than spring.
