The Figure Skating Club Hyvinkään Taitoluistelijat ry, Finland has a pleasure to invite
skaters to participate in an international figure skating competition.

Competition will be held in Single Skating (only Free Programs) at following categories:
Categories:
Beginners:
born 1997 or younger
Free Program: Girls, time max 2.00 min.
Chicks B:
born 1996 or younger
Free Program: Girls, time max 2.30 min.
Chicks A:
born 1996 or younger
Free Program: Girls and Boys, time max 2.30 min.
Cubs B:
born 1994 or younger
Free program: Girls and Boys, time 2.30 min. (+/- 10 sec)
Cubs A:
born 1994 or younger
Free program: Girls, time 2.30 min. (+/- 10 sec)
Springs:
born 1994 or younger
Free program: Girls, time 2.30 min. (+/- 10 sec)
Novices B:
Born 1991 or younger
Free program: Girls, time 3 min. (+/- 10 sec)
Senior B:
Free program: Ladies, time 3 min. 30 sec: (+/- 10 sec.)
May not be younger than ten (15) and must
Have reached the age fifteen (15) before July 1-Th

Judging:
The Finnish star evaluation system will be used in categories: Beginners,
Chicks B, Chicks A
( by giving stars from different technical elements and presentation components.)
ISU judging system will be used in Cubs B, Cubs A, Springs, Novices B and
Seniors B throughout the competition.
The organizer will invite the judges.
Preliminary Competition Schedule:
Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 9.00- 18.00
Organizing club takes right to change the schedule.
Definite timetable will be announced to all entered clubs after the conclusion of
entries deadline.
Practice:
Free practice on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 15.00-17.30
Draw:
The official draw at Ice Rink, Friday, January 25 at 18.00
Entries:
Each invited club has the right to enter 4 competitors in each category.
See the Registration Form. Competitors must be the members of an association
or a club with the I.S.U.
Organizing club takes right to enter more competitors.
Entry Fee: 40 € for each skater.
Payment:
Entry Fee, 40 € must be paid by cash before the official draw at Hyvinkää Ice
Rink.
The Organizer’s Office is located at the Ice rink.

06.01.2008

Music:
Music must be recorded on cassettes or CDs, which must state the full name of the
competitor, category and name of the club and country.
Awards:
Three first standings will be awarded with medal and all competitors will be
awarded with diploma.
Admissions: This event will be open to the public.

Liability: According to ISU Regulations, Rule 119, organiser accepts no liability for
damages or injuries sustained by competitors or official. As condition of and in consideration
of the acceptance of the entries or participation therein, all entrants, their family members
and officials shall be deemed to agree to assume all risk of injury to their person and property
resulting from, caused by or connected with, the conduct and management of the competition,
and to waive and release any and all claims which they may have against any officials and
against the Organizer.
Expenses: Travel expenses, board and accommodation will be charged by the participants.
Accommodation:
All participants pay the accommodation by themselves.
Please make the reservations directly with the hotel.

3. 3 spins of different nature (camel and sit spins minimum 4 revolutions and one spin
combination with change of foot minimum 4 revolutions on each foot)
4. Step sequence pattern optional (straight line, serpentine or circular)
5. Spirals (spirals are evaluated in program components, in the section "transitions").
Cubs A:

3. 3 spins of different nature( one of witch must be flying spin 5 revolutions, one spin
combination with change of foot minimum 5 revolutions on each foot and one spin with free choice

2. At least one combination or sequence of jumps must be included. Max three jump combinations
or sequences can be included.
- One jump combination or jump sequence is calculated as one jump element
- Max one jump combination consisting of three jumps
3. 3 spin of different nature
- One of which must be a flying spin minimum 5 revolutions
- One spin combination with change of foot and position, minimum 5 revolutions on each foot, at
least 2 revolutions in every basic position.
4. Spiral sequence or step sequence (straight-line, circular or serpentine)
Seniors B:
Free program: Ladies, time 3 min. 30 sec: (+/- 10 sec.)
May not be younger than ten (15) and must

- One of which must be a flying spin minimum 5 revolutions
- One spin combination with change of foot and position, minimum 5 revolutions on each foot, at
least 2 revolutions in every basic position.
- One spin with free choice of position minimum 5 revolutions
4. Spiral sequence (at least two different position must included)
5. Step sequence (straight-line, circular or serpentine)
