Brief Description of Products
Albigen A
Polyvinylpyrrolidone solution.
Strongly dye-affinitive stripping and leveling auxiliary for vat, sulfur,
direct and reactive dyeings. Leveling agent with retarding action in
dyeing with vat and direct dyes. Prevents staining of the ground when
prints produced with direct and reactive dyes are washed off.
Antifoam CD
Mixture of organic compounds.
Non silicone containing, water free defoamer for multiple purpose and
industry. Effective on liquid surface and not exceeding boiling
temperature.
Antifoam CD-S
Silicone emulsion.
Nonionic defoamer for multiple purpose and industry. Can be used in a
wide range of pH and temperature in aqueous solutions.
Basopal NA Liquid
Alkanolamine salt of an alkylaryl sulfonate.
Anionic detergent and emulsifier. A wetting agent and detergent in the
precleansing, bleaching, after washing etc. of all natural and synthetic
fibres. An emulsifier for mineral oils. A leveling agent for dyeing wool
and polyamide fibres with acid dyes.
Condensol FB
Synergistic mixture of metal salts.
Highly efficient catalyst for the resin finishing of textiles composed of
cellulosic fibers, alone and in blends with synthetic fibers. Compared
with standard metal-salt catalysts, Condensol FB permits a marked
reduction in the curing temperature or curing time. Ideal for one-step
drying and curing. Significantly reduces the free-formaldehyde content
as measured by the various test methods.
Condensol F-M
Synergistic mixture of metal salts.
Catalyst for the resin finishing of textiles composed of cellulosic fibers
and their blends with synthetic fibers.
Cyclanon ECO
Aqueous solution of an organic reducing agent.
Liquid reducing agent for post-clearing dyeings with disperse dyes on
PES, PES/PAN and acetate. Added directly to the acid dyebath.
Avoids the double pH change of conventional post-clearing.
Decrolin
Zinc salt of a sulfinic acid derivative.
Discharge agent in textile printing, especially for white discharge and
white discharge resist printing on synthetic fibers, wool and silk, and for
full-emulsion pigment discharge printing.
Dekol SN-S
Liquid, anionic polymer.
Dispersing agent and protective colloid in dyeing cotton and cotton /
synthetic fiber blends with vat, reactive, direct and sulfur dyes. Nonfoaming and non-retarding. Prevents impurities in cotton (pectinates,
waxes and water-hardening substances) from redepositing on the
material, and the formation of dye adducts with these impurities. Highly
effective auxiliary for washing out hydrolysate from dyeings and prints
with reactive dyes.
Eulysin FE-S Liquid
Solution of aliphatic dicarboxylic acid salts.
Acidic buffer solution for use in dyeing and printing as a nonvolatile
acid instead of acetic acid . Applied both in a long liquor and in
continuous dyeing and carpet printing.

Fixapret COC
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinking agent for low formaldehyde, washfast resin finishing of
woven and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their
blends with synthetic fibres. Good reactivity and good stability to
hydrolysis.
Fixapret CPN-S
Dimethyloldihydroxyethlene urea.
Crosslinker for washfast resin finishing of woven and knitted fabrics
composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with synthetic fibers.
Good reactivity and good stability to hydrolysis.
Fixapret F-AP
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinker for low-formaldehyde, washfast resin finishing of woven
and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with
synthetic fibers. Very high reactivity and extremely low formaldehyde
values according to the LAW 112 and AATCC 112 methods (EN ISO
14184, Parts 1 and 2).Ideal for the “BASF Advanced Performance
Finish”. Very low emissions into the exhaust air.
When used properly according to our recommendations (cf. TI),
Fixapret F-AP is suitable for textiles that are to be certified as “Tested
for harmful substances” according to Öko-Tex Standard 100 (Class II).
Fixapret F-CL
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinker for low-formaldehyde, chlorine-resistant, washfast resin
finishing of woven and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and
their blends with synthetic fibers. Very high reactivity and good stability
to hydrolysis. Particularly low formaldehyde values according to the
LAW 112 and AATCC 112 methods.
Fixapret F-ECO
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinker for low formaldehyde, washfast resin finishing of woven
and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with
synthetic fibres. High reactivity and extremely low formaldehyde values
according to LAW112 and AATCC 112. Conforms to the formaldehyde
limits of Öko-Tex Standard 100 (75ppm according to LAW 112) without
afterwashing.
Fixapret FE-208
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinker for low-formaldehyde, chlorine-resistant washfast resin
finishing of woven and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and
their blends with synthetic fibers. High reactivity and good stability to
hydrolysis. Particularly low formaldehyde values according to the LAW
112 and AATCC 112 methods.
Fixapret CD-281
Modified dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea.
Crosslinker for low formaldehyde, washfast resin finishing of woven
and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with
synthetic fibers. High reactivity and extremely low formaldehyde values
according to LAW112 and AATCC 112. Conforms to the formaldehyde
limits of Öko-Tex Standard 100 (75ppm according to LAW 112) without
afterwashing.

Helizarin Binder AP ECO
Acrylate-based copolymer.
Universal, acrylate-based binder for use in both aqueous and low
solvent pigment-printing systems. It has very little influence on the
viscosity of synthetic thickenings and gives prints with a pleasingly soft
handle and very good all-round fastness properties.

Helizarin Binder FE-FWT
(New 3)
Aqueous dispersion of a butadiene-type and acylate-type copolymers.
Self-crosslinking binder pigment printing and pigment dyeing woven
and knitted fabrics of all fibers types and blends. Very soft handle of
the printed or dyed goods. Resistant to dry cleaning, good resistance
to ageing and high wash fastness.
Helizarin Binder TOW
Aqueous acrylic dispersion.
Binder for aqueous pigment printing with a very low residual monomer
content. Produces prints with a pleasant soft handle and very good
general fastness properties. The product is a component of the
Helizarin SOFT system for solvent-free and low solvent pigment
printing; preferably in combination with Luprimol VS.
Helizarin Fixing Agent FE-S
Melamine-formaldehyde addition product.
For improving the fastness properties of pigment prints on woven and
knitted fabrics composed of synthetic fibers and regenerated cellulose,
and on their blends with cotton.
Helizarin Fixing Agent LF
Melamine-formaldehyde resin.
Crosslinking agent for improving the fastness properties of pigment
prints on cotton, synthetic fibers and regenerated cellulose, and on
blends of synthetic fibers and regenerated cellulose with cotton. For
prints with a low formaldehyde content.
Hydrosulfite Conc BASF
Sodium dithionite. Reducing agent for the textile industry.
Used as a reducing agent for vat dyes; for reductive clearing of dyeings
and prints with disperse dyes on polyester and triacetate; for stripping
dyeings on cellulosic fibers, or prints produced with vat, reactive or
direct dyes; and for cleaning dye-soiled dyeing machines, etc.
Kaurit FE-228
Modified melamine product.
Crosslinking agent for resin finishing of woven and knitted fabrics
composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with synthetic fibers.
Produce good resistant, stiff finish to textiles composed of synthetic
fibers. Improves the wash fastness of water-repellent finishes.
Resistant to shrinking and creasing.
Kieralon C
Mixture of anion-active substances.
Anion-active detergent with high resistance to electrolytes. High
detergency particularly in alkaline medium. Resistance to caustic soda
up to 30 Be. Very good pigment-dispersing power. Good biological
degradability.
Kieralon F-LVB
APEO-free mixture of surface active substances. Low viscosity and low
foaming wetting agent and detergent with a strong emulsifying action
for all pretreatment processes. Prevent the build up on the rollers in
resin finishing. Excellent stain remover. Suitable for modern machinery
systems in which the product is added to the treatment bath direct or in
the chemical feed. Readily biodegradable.
Kieralon FE-184
APEO-free mixture of surface active substances. Low viscosity and low
foaming wetting agent and detergent with a strong emulsifying action
for all pretreatment processes. Prevent the build up on the rollers in
resin finishing. Excellent stain remover. Suitable for modern machinery
systems in which the product is added to the treatment bath direct or in
the chemical feed. Readily biodegradable.
Ludigol AR
Aqueous solution of inorganic salts.
Mild, anionic oxidizing agent for dyeing with disperse dyes that are
sensitive to reduction, especially in fully flooded machines and with
PES/CV blends.

Ludigol S Liquid
Sodium nitrobenzene sulphonate.
Oxidizing agent for the textile industry. Auxiliary for preventing
undesirable reduction of reactive dyes and for reoxidizing dyeings with
vat dyes. Prevents deterioration of dyes during boil-off of coloured
bleach goods.
Luprimol SIG
Silicone-based auxiliary for pigment printing.
Produces a pleasant, dry, soft, non-tacky handle. Has a positive effect
on the fastness properties, especially the dry rub fastness, of the prints
and often on the brilliance.
Luprintol FE-1-S
Mixture of organic compounds.
The product has a emulsifying, thickening, softening and foaminhibiting effect for simplifying the preparation of solvent free and lowsolvent pigment print pastes.
Luprintol PE New
Arylpolyglycol ether. APEO free.
Emulsifier for the preparation of emulsion and solvent-free thickenings
for direct, discharge and resist printing with pigments, and for bronze
prints. Print pastes with Luprintol PE New have outstanding stability
and excellent running properties.
Lutexal GP ECO
Powdered, synthetic thickener for solvent-free and low solvent pigment
printing.
Lutexal GP ECO makes it possible to carry out environment-friendly
pigment printing with low hydrocarbon emissions and high fastness
ratings. The characteristic surface-printing effect results in particularly
good contour definition and brilliant, strong colors. Very good running
properties.
Lutexal HVW-S
High-molecular- weight ethylene oxide adduct.
Auxiliary is used to control the viscosity of pigment print paste. Lutexal
HVW-S produces an immediate and pronounced increase in viscosity
and ensure the production of sharply defined prints.
Nekanil FE-LN
Alkylphenol ethoxylate product.
Wetting agent and detergent for the textile industry. Water free,
nonionic. Very good emulsifying and scouring action on oils and fatty
substances. Activate the enzymes for degradising the starch in
desizing liquors. Prevent the build-up of deposit on the pad rollers in
resin finishing liquors.
Nekanil FE-106
Alkylphenol ethoxylate product.
Wetting agent and detergent for the textile industry. Water free,
nonionic. Excellent detergency, emulsifying , dispersing and wetting
effects. Use in detergents and cleaners and as industrial emulsifiers,
dispersants and wetting agents.
Perapret FE-236
Polyvinyl acetate dispersion.
Finishing agent for wash-resistant filling and stiffening effects on woven
and knitted fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with
synthetic fibers. Nonionic.

Perapret FE-VA
Polyvinyl acetate dispersion.
Highly efficient filling and stiffening agent mainly for cellulosic fabrics.
Good resistance to washing. Nonionic.
Perapret F-PEB
Secondary polyethylene dispersion. APEO free.
Finishing agent for easy-care finishing of woven and knitted fabrics
composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with synthetic fibers. A
smoothing agent that improves the tear strength and abrasion
resistance and gives the fabrics a somewhat fuller smoother, flowing
handle.
Perapret HVN
Anionic polyacrylate dispersion.
Thermally crosslinkable product for finishing woven and knitted fabrics
composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with synthetic fibers.
Additive in resin finishing. Increases the tear strength and abrasion
resistance. Reduces any tendency of textiles to pilling.
When used properly according to our recommendations (cf. TI),
Perapret HVN is suitable for textiles that are to be certified as “Tested
for harmful substances” according to Öko-Tex Standard 100 (Class II).
Does not meet the requirements of Annex 38 of the German WasteWater Ordinance (Abw.V.).
Peregal P
Dye-affinitive, oligomeric condensation product.
Non-foaming leveling agent for vat dyes. Improves leveling-out,
reduces the dyeing rate and promotes dye penetration.
Mixture of salts of organic polyacids.
Stabilizer for the silicate-free bleaching of cotton and polyester/cotton,
mainly in continuous processes. Stable to electrolytes and does not
foam.
Prestogen K
Primasol F-AMK
Non-surface-active acrylic copolymer.
Foam-free padding auxiliary for preventing pigment migration in dyeing
fabrics composed of cellulosic fibers and their blends with synthetic
fibers by the pad-steam, pad-jig and thermosol processes. Improves
adhesion of the padded dye to the fiber.
Primasol JET
Solution of a high molecular polymer.
Universal, nonionic lubricant and crease inhibitor for textile finishing in
rope-dyeing machines. Improves the running properties, protects the
fabric surface, prevents the formation of running creases, and
increases the liquor pickup.
Primasol NF
Anionic salt of a phosphoric acid ester.
Low-foaming padding auxiliary for continuous and batch dyeing
processes on cotton and PES/CO blends. Improves the penetration
and levelness of the dyeing.
Rongalit C
Sodium salt of a sulfinic acid derivative.
Reducing and discharge agent for textile printing. Can be used for
direct printing with vat dyes on woven and knitted fabrics composed of
cellulosic fibers, and as a discharge agent for white and colored
discharge prints on dischargeble cellulosic-fiber dyeings. Rongalit C
can also be used in boiling off cotton.
Rongalit ST Liquid
Sodium salt of a sulfinic acid derivative.
Reducing and discharge agent for pigment discharge printing. Rongalit
ST Liquid can also be used as a reducing agent for direct printing with
vat dyes, and as a discharge agent for white and colored discharges
on dischargeable dyeings.
Setamol BL
Sodium salt of a condensation product of naphthalene sulphonic acid

and formaldehyde.
Liquid, non-surface-active dispersing agent and protective colloid used
in dyeing with vat, disperse and naphthol dyes and indigo. Improves
the stability of the dyebaths and ensures that the dyes are well
dispersed.
Setamol FE-506
Anionic condensation product of naphthalene sulfonic acid and
formaldehyde.
Dispersing agent with leveling properties. Protective colloid in dyeing
with vat dyes and indigo, and in Naphtol AS bottoming baths.
Dispersing agent in dyeing acetate, polyamide and polyester fibers with
disperse dyes. Reduces staining of the white ground when washing off
prints with disperse dyes on acetate, triacetate, polyamide and
polyester
Setamol WS
Condensation product of an aromatic sulfonic acid.
Protective colloid in dyeing with vat dyes and indigo, and in Naphthol
AS impregnating baths. Dispersing agent in dyeing acetate, polyamide
and polyester fibers with disperse dyes. Reduces staining of the white
ground when washing off prints disperse dyes on acetate, triacetate,
polyamide and polyester.
Siligen FA-S
Nonionic ethoxylation product.
Antimigrant for pigment dyeing or one-bath pigment dyeing and
finishing. Improves the hydrophilic properties and gives a soft handle.
Siligen FE-227
Mixture of polysiloxane elastomer and fatty acid condensate.
Softening and smoothing agent for finishing fabrics and knitgoods of
polyester fibers and their blends with cotton, spun rayon and wool.
Slightly yellowish emulsion. Impart a smooth and supple handle,
increase crease resistance and reduce build-up of electrostatic
charges on polyester. Improve abrasion tear resistance and sewability
and reduce the tendency to pilling.
Siligen CD-264
Amino-functional polysiloxane-elastomer, micro-emulsion.
Additive and softener for textile finishing of woven and knitted fabrics
composed of cellulosic fibers, wool and synthetic fibers, and their
blends. Water white liquid, nonionic. Very soft, smooth, supple handle.
Improve tear strength, abrasion resistance and sewability. Improve
crease recovery angle and resilience.
Textile Wax W-S
High-molecular polyether.
Waxy additive to sizing and finishing liquors. Improves the weavability
of yarns, and the suppleness, lustre and smoothness of fabrics.
Bioeliminable.
Trilon TB Liquid
Sodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
For softening process water and preventing the formation of lime soap
and other insoluble lime deposits. Dissolves precipitates of hard-water
salts and other metal compounds. For applying dyes that are sensitive
to water hardness and metal salts. Prevents water-hardening
substances from depositing on printed fabric during washing-off, thus
resulting in greater brilliance, better fastness and a good handle.
Ultraphor FE-523
Styrylbenzene derivative.
Nonionic fluorescent brightener for white effects with a bluish to bluishviolet tint on polyester fibers and their blends.
Ultraphor FE-SFG
Styrylbenzene derivative.
Nonionic fluorescent brightener for white effects with a neutral to
slightly reddish tint on polyester fibers and their blends.

Ultraphor SFG-S
Styrylbenzene derivative.
Nonionic fluorescent brightener for white effects with a neutral tint on
polyester fibers and their blends.
Ultraphor SFN-S
Styrylbenzene derivative.
Nonionic fluorescent brightener for blue-violet white effects on
polyester fibers and their blends.
Uniperol EL-S
Nonionic ethoxylation product of a vegetable oil.
Versatile dispersing, emulsifying and leveling agent for dyeing and
printing textiles, in particular PA dyeing with disperse dyes. Also
suitable as an emulsifying agent for the preparation of oil-in-water
emulsions. Significantly improves the washing-out properties of the
carbonized cellulosic fiber component of burn-out prints and acts as a
dye-fixing agent in coloured burn-out prints with disperse dyes.
Vitexol PFA
Mixture of alkoxylates. Nonionic.
Foam suppressant for finishing woven and knitted fabrics of all fiber
types with pigments. Free of silicones and phosphoric acid esters.
Prevents build-up of deposits on pad rollers.
