SPORTS BROADCASTING CAMP
The nation's premier sports broadcasting camp offers students the opportunity
to learn the art of sports broadcasting from two of the industry's most
experienced sports broadcast professionals.
Bruce and Ian personally work with campers to teach them the skills necessary to become a
successful professional sports broadcaster. In addition, the area's longest running sports
broadcasting camp features instruction and career guidance from nationally known sports
industry professionals, regionally recognized broadcast personalities, and talented staffers.

A CAMP FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF
SPORTS BROADCASTERS
Students learn what it takes to become a sports media professional from some of the country's
most professional sports broadcasters. Campers gain insight into mastering the skills that will
help them pursue a career as on-air talent. Ian, Bruce, guest speakers, and counselors guide
campers through the journey of developing into broadcast professionals. During the week-long
sports broadcasting camp, campers learn essential skills, including:

- Pre-game preparation

- Writing skills
- Interviewing techniques
- Radio & television calls
- Sports talk radio delivery
- On-air presentation




Lectures, hands-on instruction, detailed feedback, and practice assignments help students prepare
