Administering medications via oral, and intramuscular, subcutaneous,
intravenous injections. Reporting PT/PTT/INR coagulation test results

etiology of specific diseases, as well as expected disease processes.

specialists. Juggled 5 actively enrolling protocols and maintained

query documents were all complete prior to each monitor’s visit and
inspection. Interacted continuously with patients and gave informed
consent regarding the studies and the experimental drugs. Ensured
100% accuracy in verifying doctor’s order and supervised chemo
nurses’s administration of drugs by providing advice on what
concomitant drugs were available for emergencies/adverse events, as
well as appropriate dosage based on BMI or cohort assigned. Collected
and processed lab data (spun, eluted, and, drew blood from lines flushed
with heparin). Vitals, 12-lead ECG, vaccinations.
Multiple Phase I/II studies. Served as liaison to PI and sponsor(s), by
constantly updating sponsor on Phase I, dose escalation studies
with instant scans and labs upon receipt. Provided PI with custom
updates on all subjects to prepare him/her for teleconferences &
presentations. Scheduled 12 active patients (qweekly visits) on 5
active studies for over seven months. Traveled to separate facility
qweekly to manage patient as both coordinator & research nurse.
Worked with 6 separate oncologists on different studies (prostate,
melanoma, gastric). Successfully managed and closed 5 inherited
studies with few to no deviations to protocol, despite minimal training.
Trials included, but not limited to the following: CURAGEN (Phase II)
for treating metastatic melanoma with brain mets using novel chemo
attached to monoclonal antibody designed to target tumor receptors.
DARA (Phase II) for neuropathic pain secondary to cancer.

enrolled subjects). Created SOPs and successfully trained newer
coordinators to cover each trial (in case of absence). Trials include,
but not limited to, VELOCITY (Phase III), a calcium-channel
blocker aimed at treating those with severe hypertension
(systolic>180, diastolic>100) and controlling within a 10 hour
period, administered intravenously. ZEALAND (Phase II),
an aquaporetic—altered version of diaphoretic—to treat those
with NYHA Class II-III congestive heart failure and/or LVEF<20%.
SHINE (Phase III-IV) study for testing a novel drug that has
shorter half-life than Plavix.
