For long-haul information, see Eurolines for bus (www.eurolines.com) and the Polish National Railway (PKP) for train information (http://rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en ) Once at the station there is a good network of public transport. A one-journey ticket costs 2.40 PLN (€0.66), which you can buy at any small tobacco shop. This ticket is valid for one journey; to change busses, you use another ticket. For combined trips it is advised to buy a daily card or week/month/3months card. The best way to reach the campus is the subway, chose KABATY direction and get off on STOKŁOSY station (ca 20 min). Students with SGGW student card have reduction of charge of the tickets. Upon arrival and registration students will be given the SGGW students card. What to bring: Bedding (sheets and blankets) will be provided to every student living in the dorms. There is one kitchen on every floor equipped with several electric cookers and a few kettles. We suggest bringing from home some basic table-ware, cutlery, your favourite mug, and towels BUDDY - Erasmus Student Network SGGW All the formal issues can be solved with support of the Polish students from BUDDY group. They also welcome incoming students and help them in case of any difficulties connected with daily life in foreign country. After the arrival in Poland they will help you to get to our campus. Please let us know in advance if you want somebody to pick you up so that we can contact you with one of them. The group has been active since 2002. Currently, BUDDY group is developing into ESN SGGW - branch of Erasmus Student Network. During the academic year they arrange excursions, visits in clubs, pubs, etc. European Programmes’ Centre and ESN SGGW organize the Orientation Day at the beginning of semester, during which foreign students can meet the students of ESN SGGW and other foreign students. e-mail: esn-sggw@wp.pl ____________________________________________________________________ International Medicine Studies s.r.o , Vlcie Hrdlo 55, 824 12 Bratislava, Slovakia Tel: ++421 2 402 076 18 Fax:++421 2 402 076 25 E mail:info@medstudy.org 21 Academic Services Library Address: phone: e-mail: The Władysław Grabski Library 166 Nowoursynowska St., 02-787 Warsaw (+48 22) 593 55 20 The University has agricultural library on the campus.
