Contact with combustible material may cause fire. Contact with acids liberates
toxic gas. Moisture sensitive.
Causes burns.
Harmful if swallowed, by inhalation, in contact with skin. Irritating to eyes and
respiratory system.
This substance is identified as a hazardous chemical under the criteria of
the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).
Mix only with water. Use clean dry utensils. Do not add this product to any
dispensing device containing remnants of any other product. Such use may cause
a violent reaction leading to fire or explosion. Contamination with moisture, organic
matter, or other chemicals may start a chemical reaction with generation of heat,
liberation of hazardous gases, and possible generation of fire and explosion.
4.
First aid measures
After inhalation: fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Summon
doctor. .
After skin contact: Wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact: Rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the
eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist.
After swallowing: Make victim drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting

Suitable extinguishing media:
Water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder. Do not use foam, halon or ammonium
based dry powders.
In case of fire or thermal decomposition insolate container in open air or well

Fire-promoting. Strong oxidizer. Keep away from combustible materials.
Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapours possible in the event of
fire. In the event of decomposition: danger of explosion. Beware of backfiring.
The following may develop in event of fire: chlorine, phosgene, nitrogen oxides.
Small quantities of water reacts with the material to form hazardous quantities of
nitrogen trichloride which is violently explosive.
Special protective equipment for fire fighting:
Wear self breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with
skin and eyes.

Accidental release measures
Person-related precautionary measures:
Avoid generation of dust; do not inhale dusts. Ensure supply of fresh air in
enclosed rooms, Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, chemical safety goggles,
rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves.
Procedures for cleaning/absorbing:
Any spillage of the material should be cleaned up as soon as possible to prevent
contamination with foreign material with which it may react.
Sweep, scoop or vacuum up all spilled materials and contaminated materials and
place in clean, moisture-excluding dry container. Forward for waste disposal.
Complete cleanup on a dry basis if possible. Avoid generation of dusts. Do not use
floor-sweeping compounds in removal of this material. Ventilate area and wash spill
site with plenty of water after material pickup is complete.

Handling:
Avoid contact with clothing and other combustible materials.
Storage:
Store in a clean dry well ventilated place. Keep tightly closed. Retie polyethylene liner
after each use and keep container tightly closed.
Do not store near combustible materials. Do not store at temperature above 60oC.

Disposal considerations
Product:
There are no uniform EC Regulations for disposal of chemicals or residues.
Chemical residues generally count as special waste. The disposal of the latter
is regulated in the EC member countries through corresponding laws and
regulations. We recommend that you contact either the authorities in charge
or approved waste disposal companies, which will advise you on how to
dispose of special waste.
This material is regulated as a hazardous material.
In USA if this product becomes a waste, it will be a hazardous waste that is subject to
the Land Disposal restrictions under 40 CFR 268 and must be managed accordingly.
As a hazardous solid waste, it must de disposed of in accordance with local, state and
federal regulation in a permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal
facility by treatment. Care must be taken to prevent environmental contamination
from the use of this material.
The user of this material has the responsibility to dispose of unused material, residues
and containers in compliance with all relevant local, state and federal laws and
regulations regarding treatment, storage and disposal for hazardous and
non-hazardous wastes.
Do not dispose of filled or partially filled containers in a common waste compactor.
Contaminants in the compactor such as oil, sawdust, floor-sweeping compound, etc.
could cause spontaneous decomposition and fusion of the material at ambient
temperatures resulting in rupture of the drum.
An acceptable method of disposal is to place material into clean moisture-excluding
dry container and remove to a safe place in according with all local and state
environmental laws/rules/regulations/standards/and other requirements.
Do not use sawdust or other combustible absorbents!
If the material is dry, disposal by incineration is recommended.
An alternate method for disposal is by neutralization to a non-oxidizing residue
which can then be discarded safely.
Wet material is dangerous and can cause explosion. Do not transport wet material.

Disposal in compliance with official regulations. Handle contaminated packaging in

particles. Empty residue into application equipment.
Then dispose of liner in a sanitary landfill or by incineration if allowed by State and
