Dalian University of Technology
Dalian University of Technology (DUT), established in 1949, is one of the key universities under the direct
leadership of the State Ministry of Education. With a history of over 50 years, DUT has developed into a
multi-disciplined university concentrating on science and technology and covering economics, management,
applied liberal arts, foreign languages and social sciences as well. With the school-running principle of
“centering on academic training and scientific research, emphasizing both undergraduate education and
postgraduate education”, DUT has been active in academic exchanges and cooperation both home and abroad. It
has signed academic agreements with more than 120 institutions of higher education and scientific research from
more than 20 countries and regions. To date, about 5,000 students from more than 50 countries have studied in
