William Jessup University Music Department Applied Jury Information Sheet Juries will be held during finals week. Check with Sara Lewis for more information. All Music Majors will perform a jury in their Juried Applied Area of Emphasis only. Students who are taking additional applied lessons are juried in their main area of emphasis with the exception of worship majors who are required to attain applied levels of 300 and 200 in a combination of voice and guitar or piano. Students must bring 4 completed copies of the Jury Repertoire Form to their jury. Students will select their first piece, jurist will select subsequent pieces from the repertoires list. Students can be accompanied by assigned evening recital accompanists, and provided student jury accompanist. Instructors accompanying is allowed only in worst case scenarios. Students receiving probationary levels will be required to perform juries at the end of Fall Semesters. Students must arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled time, warmed up, tuned up and ready to perform. Results will be communicated to each applied student by their respective applied instructor.
