Volunteer nurse-midwife in Hinche, Haiti the week of 11/19/10 for organization that collaborates with the Bon Secours Health System and the Diocese of Hinche. I cared for cholera victims (of all ages) in special tents outside of St. Therese Hospital in Hinche, cared for women at an outreach prenatal clinic, and also served as a consultant for a “Partners in Health” project that trains community health workers in aspects of postpartum and newborn care.
