Company Quote:
“We’re looking forward to ISE and spending time with our EMEA dealers in Amsterdam! We will
be showing off a number of forward-thinking solutions that bring flexibility and high-end
functionality to commercial and residential installations. Making their ISE debut will be our latest
wired and wireless interfaces, including a sleek new handheld controller with a 3.5-inch color
touchscreen, a next-generation in-wall keypad with an OLED display, and a powerful hybrid
device that combines the functionality of an in-wall interface and processor in one. In addition,
we will be highlighting the latest addition to our line-up of audio distribution solutions and a new
partnership with Lutron. With all this and much more, it’s going to be a memorable show for RTI,
and we can’t wait to see everyone there.” — Pete Baker, Vice President of Sales and
Marketing for RTI

Clear Connect Interface Module (CCM-1)
RTI has teamed up with Lutron®, a world-renowned leader in lighting control, to develop a
brilliant new solution to redefine high-voltage lighting control. The Clear Connect Interface
Module (CCM-1) allows installers to easily integrate select Lutron RadioRA® 2 dimmers,
switches, sensors, and plug-in devices into RTI’s cost-effective control systems, while
programming the devices natively from RTI’s award-winning Integration Designer® programming
software. Making its ISE debut, the CCM-1 is used to integrate RTI directly with specific Lutron
RadioRA 2 devices, which communicate via Lutron’s Clear Connect RF Technology.

Also Showing at ISE 2014:
T2i and T2x Wireless Control Interfaces
RTI’s T2i and T2x remote controls take style to an unprecedented level with thinner, sleeker,
and more ergonomic designs. The handheld controllers have next-generation features such as
a flush-mount, edge-to-edge touch screen, and an integrated accelerometer to wake up the
remotes instantly and enable movement control. Complementing their design with unparalleled
functionality, the T2i and T2x offer a dual RF platform for either one-way control via 433-MHz
RF or bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics
through 2.4-GHz ZigBee®. In addition the T2x boasts Wi-Fi® support, which enables wireless
program updates, and built-in grip sensors to keep the unit awake during use.

Cost-Effective KX2 Wired Control Interface
At 2.8 inches, the KX2 in-wall controller’s LCD is small enough to blend into any environment,
yet provides the resolution necessary for displaying custom buttons, text, and graphics. When
approached by an end user, a proximity sensor automatically brings the unit to life. The
controller’s 12 interchangeable hard buttons and the graphic interface are fully programmable
using RTI’s Integration Designer® software. The KX2’s infrared output port provides direct
control of A/V components, while the integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet port with Power-overEthernet provides two-way control and additional installation flexibility.

XP Control Processors
At ISE 2014, RTI will have the latest additions to its XP line of control processors on display,
including the revolutionary new XP-4. Offering an HDMI® video output and two inputs for an onscreen display control interface and switching capability, the XP-4 allows the television to
become an integral part of the control system. The XP-4 also provides bidirectional
communication with supported third-party electronics through an integrated 2.4-GHz ZigBee®
transceiver and two bidirectional RS-232 ports. An Ethernet connection allows for software
downloads, IP control, and support for the RTiPanel and Virtual Panel, while a host of other
control options are available such as relays, IR outputs, and voltage sensing.
