Abstract
We are a specialist tissue procurement and management service based in the UK. We provide
customized and prospective tissue acquisition, ethics approval and specialized advice relating
to all aspects of the acquisition process, including intellectual input on project design. We
can source a whole of human and animal tissue on your behalf.
We are seeking partners who require human tissues for the research and development of their
product, and would be interested in collaborations.
Long description (including innovative aspects)
We are not a biorepository, but work with multiple sources workwide to source banked
human material. We can acquire tissues and blood, surgical surplus and/or post mortem
retained specimens or material unsuitable for transplantation.
For prospective collections, for example "tough" tissues with specific inclusion and exclusion
criteria or with the supply of fresh tissue samples then, we also have a well established
network of clinicians in Europe and the USA, and this network is getting wider as we grow.
We can help provide human tissue samples in the following therapeutic areas: Oncology,
Autoimmune disorders, CNS, Inflammation, Metabolic disorders, Cardiovascular disease,
Infectious disease, Blood disorders etc We can also help provide control samples (nondiseased): e.g. Adipose tissue, Adrenal, Arteries, Bladder, Blood & Sputum, Blood Vessels,
Bone marrow, Brain, Breast, Cardiac tissues, Cartilage, CNS, Colon, Eye, Ileum, Kidney,
Liver, Lung, Lymph nodes, Muscle, Nasal blocks, Ovaries, Pancreas, Parathyroid, Pituitary,
Prostate, Skin, Stomach, Synovial Fluid, Synovium, Testis etc.
We are seeking partners who require human tissues for the research and development of
their product, and would be interested in collaborations. We are looking to work with
companies and/or academic researchers who are working in the following fields requiring
human tissue samples: drug discovery (pharmaceuticals and antibody therapeutics); preclinical safety testing; regenerative medicine/stem cells; translational medicine; diagnostics.
