Question:
What skills are required to carry out the work successfully?
State skills you can think of. It is OK to refer to a period when you did work. What
was important, what was difficult at the time.
 Ask for help (in order to be able to carry on working).
 Regular tasks are complete. Take the initiative and see your boss.
 Ask the right question for a new job.
 Ask for explanation.
 Delivery quality work.
 Being able to work at the right pace.
 Being able to hold brief telephone conversations.
Question:
What social skills are required to function successfully at work?
Other than completing the work, it is important to make, and maintain, contacts with
colleagues.
 Greet people when you come in.
 Say goodbye when you leave.
 Take the initiative for a brief conversation.
 Being able to handle criticism.
 Criticise without offending.
 Interaction with colleagues:
1. Cooperation
2. Spending break times together
3. Empathy
Final meeting
We agreed that we would both give the issues we discussed, and wrote down, further
consideration and would add new points where possible. I would try to put things
down on paper and promised to send a copy to the client.
