The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) is one of SJTO’s constituent tribunals. Description: As the Associate Chair of the HRTO, you bring proven leadership skills to the SJTO to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and high quality adjudicative and dispute resolution services. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of the tribunal and hear applications under the Ontario Human Rights Code. The Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 provides that all appointments shall be made through a competitive, meritbased process, with criteria for appointments that include: 1. Annual remuneration of $146,700 plus benefits in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service.
