The National Information Prescriptions Conference
This is due to take place on 19th March 2008 in London.
Information prescriptions, to be given by health and social care professionals, will ensure that people with long-term health or social care needs are guided to relevant sources of information and support to help them manage their condition and live healthier, more independent lives. Expectations are that the service will be able to provide this by 2008.
This free one day conference at Congress Hall aims to present the vision of information prescriptions and highlight the tangible benefits and impact. It will share the experiences from the 20 pilot projects and highlight the different models of delivery across health and social care settings across England.
To attend, please complete the registration form available at http://www.informationprescription.info/conference.html
