Factors affecting the personality traits of the athletes and players their effect on athletic excellence, athletic trends, strategies related to psychological preparation of high level athletes and competitors, studying and analyzing cases and problems of international and Olympic athletes . Course objectives: 1. Introduce students to sport psychology, its dimensions, missions, and methods of measurement. 2. Introduce students to personality, its concept, and components. 3. Introduce students to motivation in physical activities, its types and relation to success and failure experience. 4. Introduce students to characteristics of emotions in sport activities and its relationship with anxiety, violence, discriminations, and riot. 5. Introduce students to the concept of arousal and relation to performance and anxiety and sport. 6. Introduce students to aggression behavior. 7. Introduce students to sport preferences. 8. Introduce students to the issue of burnout and its reasons. 9. Introduce students to levels brain taxonomy and how to use it to inquire sport skills. 10.Provide students with psychology skills related to improvements in sport performance.
