Russell Schuck is a Vice President at Haley & Aldrich. Russell has over 20 years experience in
environmental consulting. He serves as a client leader for the company’s Industrial Environmental Business
Unit which focuses on clients in the aerospace, automotive, biopharma, petrochemical, and general
manufacturing market segments. He is also on the leadership team for Haley & Aldrich’s Contaminated
Sediment Management practice. Russell acts as project manager on large, complex, sites providing strategic
advice to the client team. He provides technical support on site assessment, conceptual site model
development, contaminant fate and transport evaluation, and remedial strategy development. His areas of
expertise include site characterization techniques, contaminant hydrogeology, metals geochemistry,
limnology, and DNAPL fate and transport. Russell is a Licensed Professional Geologist in NH and a Certified
Professional Geologist. He is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists and the
American Chemical Society.

Peter Alpert represents industrial, institutional, financial, developer and municipal clients on a broad range of
environmental and land-use matters. His environmental practice is generalized, but a substantial part is devoted to
federal and state superfund matters, including the negotiation and administration of CERCLA consent decrees, and the
oversight of privatized response actions under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan, including two of the largest MCP
cleanups ever performed. He has represented numerous industrial clients in defense of federal and state environmental
enforcement actions initiated pursuant to federal and state air, water, hazardous waste management, and wetlands
laws. He has represented institutions and developers in the permitting of large-scale real estate development projects in
Massachusetts. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia and a 1989 graduate of the Boston College Law
School.

Robin focuses on working with regulators and various community economic development committees in using insurance
to promote the Brownfields Initiative, negotiating complex coverage terms and conditions for numerous environmental
liability insurance programs for real estate developers and sellers of contaminated property, and working with regional
attorneys in developing risk transfer solutions to complicated contractual agreements. She also works with
environmental contractors and consultants in arranging insurance programs that best address professional and
operational exposures. Robin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers College with a BA in Political Science, and is
currently pursuing a law degree at Rutgers – Newark School of Law.

Jim Occhialini is a Vice President of Technical Sales at Alpha Analytical and he is very active with a number of
regulatory workgroups and industry associations. He has over 30 years of environmental analytical and consulting
experience working on a wide range of hazardous waste characterization and remediation project applications. Jim
holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Science from the UMASS Amherst.

Mr. Sasse has 15 years of experience working on site investigations and remediation projects. He has primarily been
responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination, implementation, and closure of projects involving the releases of
hazardous materials and petroleum products. Mr. Sasse has considerable experience planning and implementing
large, multi-phased projects and laboratory decommissioning projects. He has participated in emergency response
actions, comprehensive site characterizations, risk assessments, feasibility studies, remedy design and implementation,
operation and maintenance of remedial systems, laboratory decommissioning for regulatory agencies and private
industry. Mr. Sasse is working with the New York Department of Education to preparing and finalize a PCB Caulking
Best Management Plan for school buildings in their system as part of an EPA Consent Agreement. He has managed
remediation projects in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire.

Mark is a Client Advocate in the Willis Boston office with over 17 years experience in the property & casualty insurance
industry. His current focus includes client development and client advocacy for middle-market environmental,
construction and technology risks. Prior to joining Willis Mark worked as an Account Executive with Liberty Mutual with
responsibilities for sales and servicing of construction, commercial, real estate, manufacturing, wholesale and retail
middle-market accounts. Mark graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, is a
licensed Massachusetts broker, and has received the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Mark is a member of the Boston-area Environmental Business Council.
