The Environment Agency has been undertaking studies over the past year on the contaminant levels in the water, sediments, and selected infauna of the Severn Estuary, and the sediments and selected infauna of Poole Harbour. The results of these studies will inform the assessments which the Agency is required to undertake in the review of permissions which could affect the integrity of European Marine Sites, under Regulation 50 of the Conservation
(Natural Habitats &c.) Regulations 1994. The poster will show some of the results of these studies at the 2 sites.
