Lonza Braine S.A. – Process Development Downstream Location: Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium) Process Development Downstream Project Leader Ref. 196 Your tasks For the strengthening of the Process Development Downstream Department of our subsidiary in Brainel’Alleud, specialized in peptide custom manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry, we are currently looking for a Project leader whose main responsibility will be the development of downstream production processes for synthetic peptides API. His/her main tasks will be : In collaboration with chemical and analytical development departments, develop and qualify downstream processes (purification and isolation) using bench and pilot scale equipment. With a team of technicians, design and drive experiments plan Perform the scale-up of the process and development batches production (cGMP) including qualification Manage project timeline and costs Communicate the project data and status to customers (internal and external) Be directly involved in process validation and in the process transfer to manufacturing Support manufacturing in troubleshooting and investigation Actively collaborate with Manufacturing, QA-RA, SHE Departments Participate in the day to day laboratory organization (equipment management, training of team members, 5S, process excellence tools implementation, improvement of laboratory practices,...)
