City House Job Descriptions 2015 Job Title: TLP-Shelter Operations Manager Salary; Exempt Status Position: Implement the responsibilities of overseeing staffing supervision and budgetary needs as a fundamental part of the Transitional Living Program team while reporting directly to Sr. Director of Programs. Responsibilities Hiring of TLP direct care staff working directly with the residential clients. Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field with an understanding and experience working within a licensed facility Minimum one year experience in leadership role with management/supervisory experience in a residential child care setting Minimum of two years of experience working with children in a residential setting or related experience. Knowledge of issues related to teen homelessness, abuse and neglect within at-risk children Preferred experience maintaining a multi-level budget. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Effective organizational skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public as well as volunteers. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Valid Texas driver's license and insurance and be at least 21 years of age.
