This show is affiliated to the BSPS(British Show Pony Society)and all persons entering,
competing, showing or otherwise taking part in the BSPS classes, whether or not they are
members of the BSPS are subject to the rules of the BSPS including the disciplinary
procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS.

CLASS 10.
BSPS Mixed Height Novice WHP/ Intermediate WH Mare or Gelding,
4yrs old or over, not ex 158cms Riders MUST jump their correct height
section and be the correct age for the animal they ride. Riders may ride
more than one pony providing the animals are of a different height
section. Riders must declare if they are competing in the 153cms or the
Intermediate section. Please indicate on entry form which height section
you will be jumping in. BSPS RULE 39 applies.

No cantering except for individual performances. Ponies must leave the ring
in walk or trot.
OPEN MINI CHAMPIONSHIP. 1st & 2nd prize winners from classes 19 & 20.
Champion will qualify for the BSPS Champion of Champions.
CLASS 21.
BSPS TINY TOTS FIRST RIDDEN. Mare or gelding 4yrs or over not exc.
122cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st Jan. 2014.
On the go round ponies will not be asked to change the rein. In their
individual shows ponies will be expected to walk up and trot back, cantering
is optional but no figure of eight or change of rein is required. In this class the
judge is looking for a pony suitable to take its rider off the lead rein for the
first time. Riders in Tiny Tots First Ridden will not be asked to dismount.
CLASS 22.
BSPS MIXED HEIGHT INTERMEDIATE Show riding Type. Mare or
gelding 4yrs or over exc. 146cms but not exc. 158cms. Riders not to have
attained their 25th birthday before 1st Jan. 2014.

BSPS LEAD REIN PONY of HUNTER TYPE. Mare or gelding 4yrs or
over not exc. 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st
Jan. 2014. Ponies will be asked to negotiate small rural obstacles in their
individual show.
CLASS 39.
BSPS OPEN FIRST PONY of SHOW HUNTER TYPE. Mare or gelding
4yrs or over, not exc. 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 10th birthday
before 1st Jan. 2014. Snaffle Bridles only. No cantering allowed except for
individual performances, ponies must leave the ring at a walk or trot.
MINI OPEN HUNTER PONY CHAMPIONSHIP.
Open to 1st & 2nd prize winners in classes 38 & 39

gelding 4yrs. or over not exc. 153cms. Riders MUST be the correct age for
the height of animal they ride.
UNAFFILIATED RIDDEN CLASSES.

CLASS 46.
RIDDEN SHOW ANIMAL, Show Pony or Show Hunter Type, 4 years
old or over, not exceeding 153cms (15:00hh).
This class will be split if entries warrant.
CLASS 47.
RIDDEN COLOURED HORSE OR PONY. Traditional or Non
Traditional, Cob, Native or Non Native. Any Height. Leading Reins NOT
permitted. This class will be split if entries warrant.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR HARD HATS TO *BSEN1384/*PAS015/
*ASTMF1163 STANDARD AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED.
IT IS ADVISED THAT JUMPING COMPETITORS WEAR BACK PROTECTORS.
ENTRY FEES ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE CLASS.
THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. ANY OBJECTIONS MUST BE MADE TO THE
SECRETARY ACCOMPANIED BY A £10 DEPOSIT.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR AMMALGAMATE ANY CLASS.
NO LIABILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY INJURY, ACCIDENT, LOSS OR DAMAGE
TO SPECTATORS, ANIMALS, VEHICLES OR PERSONAL PROPERTY.
HORSES OR PONIES THAT WISH TO COMPETE “H.C.” WILL NOT BE
ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN ANY OTHER CLASS AT THE SHOW.

This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Summer Championships 2015. 1st and 2nd prize
winners in the following will qualify:
Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden,
Novice or Open 128cms. 138cms. & 148cms Show Ponies
Open Nursery stakes , Novice or Open 133cms, 143cms, 153cms WHP.
Open 122cms. 133cms. 143cms & 153cms SHP.
Novice 133cms. 143cms. 153cms. SHP
1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners in the following will qualify:
Open Cradle Stakes.
Open Intermediate classes SRT, WH & SHT including Mixed Height Intermediate
Heritage M & M Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden & WHP Classes.
And 1st – 4th in Mixed Height Classes will qualify.
BSPS Premier League
This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League.
1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the following Open classes-. Lead Rein, & First Ridden,
128cms. 138cms. & 148cms. Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, 122cms. 133cms.
143cms. & 153cms. Show Hunter Pony, Cradle & Nursery Stakes, 133cms. 143cm.
153cms. WHP, Intermediate SRT, SH & WH and Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden,
Ridden & WHP classes.
In mixed height classes 1st – 4th will qualify. The final will be held at the Summer
Championships Show.
BSPS “Black Country Saddles” Best Rider
The Best Rider in each of the following classes at all BSPS Summer qualifying shows will
be awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the final at the Summer Championships
Show: Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden, Open 128cms. 138cms. & 148cms. Show
Ponies, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Open 122cms. 133cms. 143cms. & 153cms. Show
Hunter Ponies, Open Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Open 133cms. 143cms 153cms. Working
Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT., SH. & WH. Classes.
Open Heritage Lead Rein & First Ridden and to the best rider 25years and under in the
Heritage Ridden and WHP classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS
Summer Championship Show.
The BSPS “Classic Security” Challenge; This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge.
The highest placed pony in the Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Show Pony, Lead Rein of
Hunter Type Open SHP, Nursery stakes, Open Working Hunter Ponies, Open
Intermediate SRT,SH and WH, and Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden and
WHP Classes that has not already qualified for the 2015 HOYS in the appropriate class will
qualify. If the highest placed has already qualified for the” BSPS Challenge” the
qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.
Animals may qualify for both the BSPS Blue Riband of the Year and the BSPS Challenge,
but must select which competition they compete in at the BSPS Championship show. They
may NOT compete in the same class in the BSPS Challenge and the Blue Riband of the
year.
Cradle Stakes The highest placed pony that has not already qualified for the “BSPS
Challenge”, will qualify, if the highest placed pony has already qualified, the qualification
will be awarded to the next eligible pony. The final will be held at the BSPS Summer
Championships Show 2015.
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS
The Champion in each of the following sections at all BSPS Affiliated Summer Qualifying
Shows will qualify for the final of the Champion of Champions at the Summer
Championships Show 2015:- The Mini SP Champ. Mini WHP Champ. Open SP Champ.
Open SHP Champ. Open WHP/WH Champ. Open Intermediate Champ. Heritage Mini
Champ. Open Heritage Ridden & WHP Champ. In Mixed Height /Breed classes the first
prize-winner will qualify.
ENTRY FEES:
UNAFFILIATED classes £5.00 per class £6.00 on the day.
BSPS Affiliated classes
£10.00 per class £14.00 on the day.
PRIZE MONEY TO 3rd PLACE Unaffiliated Classes: 1st £6.00, 2nd £3.00 3rd £1.00
BSPS Affiliated classes : 1st £10.00, 2nd £5.00, 3rd £3.00.
Where there are less than 5 entries only 1st prize money will be awarded.
