BRADFORD DIABETES
DIPLOMA COURSE
Aim
This module is aimed at health care professional
who have a role in the delivery and management
of care for those clients and their families
experiencing diabetes and who wish to respond
more effectively to the health needs of their
clients. Upon completion of the course the
participant will be able to suggest, initiate and
vary treatment to individual needs. The content
covers screening, diagnosis, management of
diabetes and micro-and macro-vascular
complications.

Six months of self-directed study is facilitated by
distance learning pack which concludes with two
days of compulsory workshops.
Attendance at a mid-course study day is optional.
