Scott. The papers were filmed by Kelly Allen, Charita Jackson, and LaShawanda Ingram, students at Buffalo State College. The students worked under the supervision of the Fordham Regional History Center at Buffalo State College. The students were paid from a New York State grant. The copies document the history of many of Ms. Scott’s ancestors. Their purpose was to assist in the war effort. They raised money through giving dinners and teas to contribute to worthy causes. One of the founding members was Emma Johnson Cady, great-grandmother of Madeline O. Scott. There is a scrapbook in this container that has news articles, letters and other papers that pertain to this group.” 34 Mitchell, Carol Family Contains news paper clippings, articles, correspondence and other papers which highlight the life of Mrs. Carol Mitchell, Mrs. Scott’s sister. 35 Norton Elementary School Mrs. Scott apparently made a presentation to the students of Norton Elementary School. This folder has “thank you” letters and other materials from the students.
