Sunday check in will also begin at 9:30AM with judging beginning at 10:00 AM. Exhibitors will be marked absent if not checked in on time. Exhibitors must be present to claim all final awards unless prior permission has been received from the show manager. Published hours for spectators are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday, and 10:00AM to 4:00 PM Sunday. Rules: This show will be run strictly according to the show rules of the American Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to know the show rules. This show will be scored for ACFA Inter-American and Regional awards. Ribbons/Rosettes will be awarded in all rings. Important: It is recommended that all entries be fully immunized against feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis and calici viruses. Maryland state law requires all cats to be immunized against rabies. Any entry from a household where there has been a contagious illness within 21 days of the opening day of the show will be prohibited. A veterinarian will be on call 24 hours. If the show committee deems it necessary to call a veterinarian, the exhibitor will be responsible for all charges. Please trim claws before judging. ** All cats in the show hall must be free of fleas, ear mites, and fungus and show no sign of contagious disease, illness or neglect. Sales Cages: Available for exhibitors only. Kittens entered in the show or for sale must be at least 4 months old, be able to show proof of age and be owned by the exhibitor. No cats or kittens may be benched or sold from carriers under the benching area or from the parking area. No non-pedigree cat or kitten may be sold or given away at the show except by 501c3 rescue groups/shelters. Novice Exhibitors: Please bring your cat in a secure carrier. Bring your own litter pans, food & water dishes and coverings for the top, bottom, back and sides of your benching cage. A single cage comes with each entry and measures approximately 22x22x22, extra space is available – see summary form. Litter will be provided. Clerks: Ring clerks are needed! Clerks will be paid $50.00 for both days plus lunch. Do not deduct from fees, clerks will be chosen based upon experience.
