OFFICIAL RULES OF THE FLAGSTAFF UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
“Support a School for a Chance To Win Something Cool!” Raffle
By entering this drawing all participants and the winner consent to the use of their names and
likeness in publicity related to the drawing and its outcome without compensation and waives
any and all claims against Flagstaff Unified School District, Coconino County Coalition for
Children and Youth or the Raffle sponsor: Flagstaff Subaru Nissan.
Donations for ticket entries will begin on August 11, 2014 and will continue until October 31,
2014 during half time of the FHS vs CHS Football Game.
ELIGIBILITY: Persons must be 18 years of age or older to enter the drawing. Incomplete or
illegible entries, or entries received after commencement of the drawing are not eligible. This
offer is void where prohibited and subject to all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws.
PRIZE: First prize is a brand new car provided by Flagstaff Nissan Subaru. Flagstaff Nissan
Subaru reserves all rights to provide adequate substitute (including same automobile of a
different color) for the giveaway if the named automobile becomes undeliverable. Flagstaff
Nissan Subaru authorizes credit of the best price of the automobile toward a purchase of an
alternate vehicle at Flagstaff Nissan Subaru. This credit applies at the Flagstaff Subaru Nissan
location only.
ODDS: Up to 3,200 tickets shall be sold. Odds of being selected to receive first prize depend
on the number of tickets received. If all 3,200 tickets are sold, the odds of being selected shall
be 1/3,200.
TICKETS: Tickets may be purchased at; All Flagstaff Unified School District schools, the FUSD
Administrative Offices and Flagstaff Subaru Nissan. All checks shall be written to Coconino
County Coalition for Children and Youth (fiscal agent). 97% of the proceeds will go to the school
designated on the ticket. All monies must clear for ticket to be valid. Tickets shall NOT be
purchased by mail. Tickets shall NOT be sold by anyone under the age of 18.
DRAWING: Drawing will be held on October 31, 2014 at the Flagstaff High School vs. Coconino
High School football game at half time in the NAU Walkup Skydome. Drawing date is subject to
change. In the event the drawing date is changed, entrants will be notified of date, time and
place of drawing at the address or phone number indicated on the ticket stub. Drawing is open
to all ticket holders. Flagstaff Unified School District and Flagstaff Nissan Subaru reserve the
right to award the prize to whom it determines the winner. All decisions are final. Winner will
be notified by telephone and or US Mail at the information indicated on ticket stub. Winner
must present matching stub and valid identification to claim prize. Prize must be claimed within
30 days. If prize is not claimed within thirty (30) days, another entrant will be selected by
random drawing from remaining entries. Completion of an alternate drawing will foreclose any
and all claims of the original winning entrant to the automobile. FUSD employees are eligible to
enter and win this drawing. Flagstaff Unified School District and Flagstaff Subaru Nissan’s
decision to hold such alternate drawing is final. Name of winner or copy of Official Rules may
be obtained by sending a self-addressed, postage paid envelope to Flagstaff Unified School
District attention: Karin Eberhard, 3285 E. Sparrow Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Automobile
may not be the same as shown in advertising materials.
TAXES: Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes (Federal, State and Local) as well as
licensing, registration, delivery of prize, and all other requirements related to use of the
automobile.
WARRANTY: Flagstaff Unified School District, Coconino County Coalition for Children and
Youth, and Flagstaff Nissan Subaru disclaim any and all responsibility or liability for damages,
losses, or injury resulting from the automobile or its operation. The aforementioned parties
make no warranty of any kind regarding the automobile.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY:
The automobile comes with a manufacturer’s service
warranty. Terms of the warranty can be obtained from Flagstaff Nissan Subaru. Any and all
claims under the manufacturer’s service warranty shall be submitted according to the warranty.
The warranty is non-transferable. Flagstaff Nissan Subaru and FUSD disclaim any responsibility
or liability for claims made pursuant to the manufacturer’s service warranty.
DONATIONS: Donations to Flagstaff Unified School District, Coconino County Coalition for
Children and Youth and this event are non-refundable.
DISCLOSURE: Entry constitutes permission to disclose any provided information in an effort to
comply with legally required disclosure.
SUBMISSION: Submission of a ticket constitutes entrant’s agreement to abide by the terms and
conditions of these Official Rules. Flagstaff Unified School District and Flagstaff Nissan Subaru
reserve the right to cancel or modify the drawing in any way, including, without limitation, to
modify or amend these rules at any time and from time to time.
