Responsibility: Cradle to Cradle ®
Desso is a Cradle to Cradle company since we embraced the C2C concept. For C2C
products all materials must be positively defined concerning their eco-toxicological and
toxicological properties. Furthermore Desso’s products will be fully recyclable,
compostable and produced with energy from current solar income. Desso prefers this for
the whole supply chain. In order to be awarded a C2C certificate, all materials used by
Desso will be evaluated. The information we need for C2C will be derived from the forms
that you need to complete.
Sustainability with substance
Desso will ensure that her products have a beneficial impact throughout their whole life.
We will source sustainable raw materials, use durable energy and energy efficient
processes, develop long-life and low maintenance products, and we recycle, reclaim and
re-use products at the end of their initial life.
Social responsibilities
Desso wants her business to have a positive effect on those we deal with - not least our
customers, our workforce and our suppliers. We aim to build a reputation as an honest and
ethical trading partner, great employer and responsible neighbour, guided by the Global
Sullivan principles and according to the SA 8000 standard. (Annex 1).
