Draft wording for revisions to 59A have been made. 59A is counting on both ACI 376 and API 625 to have passed to publication status BEFORE their fall 2010 meeting. API 625 needs to pass at S10 meeting to support this. ACI 376 news & timeline – Miller reported (based on discussion with CB&I 376 rep) that revised draft addressing the 1st round of TAC comments expected to return to TAC this week at ACI fall meeting. Public comment period starting in Dec is hoped. EEMUA 207 news – It has passed in its committee. Publication will be soon. ISO TC67 WG10 activities – Miller reports they hope to write and publish a Technical Report (TR) before end of 2010. Follow-up on open action items Addition of EN10025 materials o Rama Challa did some further checking of Miller draft additions to API 620. He raised a question of if there was specific test data or experience to justify EN10025 S275 J0 without special impact tests for use down to -20F in Table R-4. Miller agreed to review this and report back to RTTG. Determine RTTG disposition of ExxonMobil input from 7/30/09 meeting. o Reasons for and against the umbrella structure and counterpoints (in red) were recorded on the screen during the meeting as those present spoke them. Result embedded below. Since the number of RTTG members present was low, a RTTG email ballot on this is to follow. Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet o The latest list of ExxonMobil comments was reviewed again. A number of them are accommodated in some fashion in the latest drafts reviewed at the meeting. In general, requested changes that are based on ExxonMobil premise that API 625 should not be an umbrella document were deferred pending the above RTTG email ballot. Review of proposed additional changes in API 625 Miller had drafted various proposed changes to API 625 drafts based on various input received including the NFPA 59A TG recommendations to RTTG in 10/29/09 email We got through RTTG review of first 8 sections of above draft of API 625. Remaining sections to be reviewed by later teleconference. J Blanchard has an action item to review capacity requirements for single containment dikes R Challa has an action item to make recommendation on possible shortening of section 6.6 on foundations. Review of proposed additional changes in API 620 R & Q Time did allow this review to be even started. It will need to be done by later teleconference. Coverage of Liners. Miller presented observations about the current coverage gap by a spreadsheet previously distributed on Oct 7, 2009. We decided to try to draft API 620 revisions to help clean up the gap as requested by NFPA TG. Required schedule: o Dec 9: Team complete drafts o Jan 14: Team review draft with RTTG Plan made to assemble a 3 to 4 member team to respond to issues raised in Miller spreadsheet with a set of API 620 R / Q revisions. Volunteers: o Blanchard, o Hoptay to be recruited by Challa, o Shell rep to be recruited by Miller, o ExxonMobil rep to be recruited by Widianto. Planning of RTTG review of ACI 376 during its public comment period. Commitments were completed for review of the various sections. These are in embedded Word file below.
