Oversight of the care of the museums’ artifacts, onsite, on exhibit, on
loan and at 5 off-site locations.
Manage conservation laboratory and contractor conservators.
Coordination of exhibit installations of museum artifacts within NPM
and at other museums nationally and internationally.
Liaison for the museum on all preservation related issues within SI
organizations, general public and museum professional groups.
Assistant manager for the Collections Management Department,
overseeing staff of six plus volunteers and interns.
Member of the NPM Senior Staff, making key budget and policy
decisions.
Numerous public and professional presentations, workshops and
articles.
