Our two woodland campsites each have a communal firepit. We have a washcabin a short walk from the campsites with a hot shower, hand basin, utility sink and two flush toilets. Potable water is available at the washcabin. We will have a first aid area available. Please bring your own folding chair(s), tent(s), camping equipment, and enough food and beverages for your stay. Food will be provided for the Saturday evening feast only – you are responsible for all other meals. Note that there are no grocery stores in Middle River – the closest is the Co-op in Baddeck, 20 minutes drive away. The Co-op is closed on Sundays. Note that Willow Retreat does not have a liquor licence – BYOB. Anyone found to be excessively inebriated will be removed from the premises immediately. Willow Retreat is surrounded by wilderness preserve land. Please respect the land and animals that inhabit our area. Take your garbage home with you. Note that there is no cell service in Middle River.
