Topics of Research: Phytochemistry – Isolation, purification and structural elucidation of secondary metabolites from traditional Chinese medicines (Kadsura, Schisandra, Illicium) and potential anti-cancer plants (Taxus, Casearia, Hypercium). Marine Invertebrates Natural Product Chemistry – research of secondary metabolites from marine invertebrates, such as soft corals (Clavularia, Xenia, Cespitularia, Sarcophyton) and sponges (Xestospongia).
