Turkish troops and the so-called Turkish Embassy.
2. Ankara and its occupation regime are launching a diplomatic offensive in the United Nations headquarters
Encouraged by the Greek Cypriots´ rejection of the Annan plan in a democratic manner during a referendum, Turkey, and the

contacts with important members of the UN while its military-supported regime is conveying in writing the Turkish side´s views to

followed in the coming years. Mr Talat further explained that the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the world are in wait for the UN
Secretary-General´s report because the steps to be taken by the Turkish side after it will be important.
He explained that based on the report, the Turkish side will try in a speedy manner to render ineffective all the previous negative
decision for Turkey for its violations of the international law and the human rights of the Cypriots. (Tr. Note: They call isolation
and embargo the implementation of international law).
3. The so-called minister of foreign affairs of the occupation regime visits Pakistan reportedly upon official invitation
from Islamabad
Turkish Cypriot daily KIBRIS newspaper (28.05.04) reports that Serar Denktas, so-called deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign Affairs of Ankara´s occupation regime in Cyprus, visited yesterday Pakistan. The visit is reportedly taking place upon an
2
official invitation by Islamabad and it is expected to be the first stop of a long tour of Mr Denktas, within the framework of the
“diplomatic attack” of the Turkish side aiming at putting an end to the so-called isolation of the Turkish Cypriots.
The paper notes that Mr Denktas began his contacts in Islamabad by meeting with ambassador Riaz Khokhar, permanent
undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, because the Pakistani Minister of Foreign Affairs was on a visit abroad.
According to KIBRIS, the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the illegal occupation regime in Cyprus, the recent
