Technical Guidance of the Implementation of Specialist Physician Professional Education Standard According to the Medical Practice Act Section 7 verse 1b, The Indonesian Medical Council (KKI) has the duty to "legalize the physician profession education standard" and has the authority to "legalize physician's competence standard" (Verse 8c). Physician Profession Education is profession education that is held according to the legal regulation related to the national education system. On 2006, KKI and the stakeholders has produced the Physician Profession's Education Standard, Physician Profession Standard, and Specialist Physician Profession Education Standard. The standard is then legalized by KKI on November 2006 and has been socialized to be implemented in the stakeholders, especially to the various Medical Faculty in Indonesia. Until the end of 2009, most of Medical faculty has applied these standards but not fully because of many constraints and problems faced. To that end, Division of Professional Standards Council of Medical Education, with stakeholders, will conduct the technical guidance / assistance on the Standard Implementation of Specialist Medical Education to Educational Institutions Specialist (IPDS), especially to the Specialist Program, which is a new medical study. The activities include providing technical guidance on implementation of technical guidance Standards Professional Education Specialist Physicians in various FK which has a Specialists Physician Education Program. The technical guidance will discuss the implementation of specialists education standards in various existing Medical Faculty Specialist Physician Education Program, followed by feedback and guidance by KKI Team. Materials includes exposure guidance curriculum, management, input-process-output in the related medical Faculty, hardware problems, brainware and software, as well as problems and other obstacles that arise in the implementation of the Standards for Educational and Professional Competency Standards Specialist Physicians in the FK. Method of implementation of these activities is by presentation of the process of implementation of education standards in their respective related Medical Faculty (PPDS), followed by comments and discussions. Technical guidance was conducted in six Medical Faculties (PPDS) across Indonesia, including UB. At UB, the activities will be held on Friday (16/7).[nok]
