Application is permitted only to those who agree to the 11 below terms and sign or give their seal in agreement.
1.
I (the applicant) will not allow others than myself (the applicant) to use the user ID issued by the Center.
2.
When presenting results gained from using the supercomputer, the applicant will specify within the results that he or she used the
supercomputer of the Center.
3.
If any of the registered items change, the applicant will fill out the necessary items and changed items in the application form, and
promptly submit the updated form.
4.
This application grants permission to use the system for the duration of the fiscal year in which the application was made.
5.
If the applicant wishes to continue using the system in the following fiscal year, he or she will submit the Application for Renewal of
Use form.
6.
When applying for renewal, the applicant will submit a synopsis of results, in the format designated by the Center.
7.
When terminating use, the applicant will promptly submit a list of results, as well as the form for Termination of Use / Temporary
Suspension.
8.
The applicant will not use the system for the development, design, manufacture, storage, or use of weapons of mass destruction, such as
nuclear weapons, biological weapons, or missiles.
9.
The address of the person in responsible for the research must be within Japan. The address of the person in charge of finance, who
should be able to verify the affiliation of the person in responsible for the research, must also be within Japan.
10. When the applicant applies for a new account or for renewal use, the Center will make a decision after examining the research contents.
The applicant will abide by the Center's decision.
11. If the Center observes a violation by the applicant of any of the above terms, or if it observes any kind of misuse, it will prohibit the user
from further use of the system. In such a case, the applicant will not express any dissent whatsoever.

Notes regarding applications
1. New users must fill in three choices for their desired user name. The username must be under 9 characters. Please
remember that it will be your email address. When two applicants request the same name, the earlier request will be
processed.
2. Please have one person in responsible for the research per laboratory.
3. The person in charge of finance is generally the head of accounting of the department to which the person in
responsible for the research belongs. If the person in charge of finance is an instructor of the Institute of Medical
Science, University of Tokyo, there is no need to specify the person in charge of finance on the form.
4. Use of the super computer system is currently free of charge, but we withhold the right to charge usage fees in the
future. Therefore, please complete the parts of the application form titled ' A person in responsible for the research'
and 'Person in charge of finance'. Further, please fill in the “financing” section with the expected method of financing in
the case that a fee system is implemented. You do not need to fill in the expected cost of use.
