Remarkable Person Project
Throughout time, certain people have gained recognition because of their personal
accomplishments or their position in society or the world. For this project, you will
be examining one person’s life and what made him or her stand out in the world:
which will include the world at large, the world of literature, world of art, world of
science etc.
You will be learning and using research methods to locate, extract, and compile
information about your remarkable person. Your culminating project will be to
create a four-section brochure about the remarkable person. An example of the
brochure is available as well as a list of remarkable people for you to choose from, or
you can find one on your own, but the person must have lived outside of the United
