Remarkable Person Project Throughout time, certain people have gained recognition because of their personal accomplishments or their position in society or the world. For this project, you will be examining one person’s life and what made him or her stand out in the world: which will include the world at large, the world of literature, world of art, world of science etc. You will be learning and using research methods to locate, extract, and compile information about your remarkable person. Your culminating project will be to create a four-section brochure about the remarkable person. An example of the brochure is available as well as a list of remarkable people for you to choose from, or you can find one on your own, but the person must have lived outside of the United States during the period from 1550 to 1911. The completed brochure will include the following (here is a checklist): o o o o o o o Biography- focus only on influences Accomplishments or awards What made the person remarkable? Who were contemporaries during the person’s life? What would the person be doing today?
