List Apologies: Dr. Lewis, Dr. Whittington 1. Minutes of last meeting: Agreed as a true record. 2. Matters arising from minutes: Queen's Theatre - all children have been chosen and were thrilled. The tickets for the Wednesday afternoon performance were changed to the evening performance. The children were chosen at random. Possibly an idea to do similar for next Christmas. 3. Treasurer's Report: The bank balance is £1238. An invoice has been sent to Hurley Group Head Office for re-imbursement from the £500 awarded to the committee as runners up in their Community Engagement Scheme 2013. 4. Garden Project: The pathway over the flower beds will be moved. Countryside will give plants if it is approved. The pathway will be for emergency vehicles and pedestrians only. 5. Peter Estate's Manager: Railway Sleepers are needed to put the shed on. Firm in Tilbury sell them at £16 each. The shed can then be screwed to the sleepers. Confirmation will come in writing that this is not a problem. A decision is needed as to where the planters and bench can go. Chis Patmore will do photos and mark crosses where they will go. The budget for this is from the £2500 grant from the council grant. 6. Tickets for Queen's Theatre: See item 4 above Matters arising. 7. Threatening Behaviour against staff Poster: Sue Shepherd said it is not easy to remove people from practice. The committee understands this but hope that it may make people think twice before acting. 8. Public Liability Insurance: Need to confirm that voluntary workers are covered. Sue Shepherd will talk to the legal team to see if the Hurley Group Public Liability Insurance covers it. 9. Easter Raffle: Pat Birch says she has raffle tickets. Sue Shepherd suggested that we get in touch with the person who does fundraising for St Francis Hospice for ideas. A table needs to be set up with prizes which are to be donated by the PPG. PPG will need to sell tickets as reception too busy to deal with them. Sabrina King will make a rabbit cake. The raffle will be drawn on Good Friday 3rd April. 10. A.O.B. Car Park - Nigel Pattenden is responsible for the car park. The committee decided to write a letter of complaint reference the lighting; white edging to kerbs and steps to entrance; blue ambulance bay marking; pot holes in car park.
