Welcome Rainbow Pet Care Center Clients and Feline Friends,
Our kennel facilities are safe, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The building is kept
heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer so your pet can enjoy their visit. We
keep music playing 24 hours a day, which helps soothe the pets and keeps them from being
bothered by storms and other noises outside.
We give our feline friends special care, just as you do at home. While most cats would prefer
to stay in their own home, this is not always possible. Therefore, it is important to make sure
your pet is in a safe, secure environment. We strive to make your cat’s visit as stress-free as
possible, by giving lots of personal attention, so it’s the next best thing to being at home!
Keep in mind that cats react much differently in a strange environment that do dogs. Cats are
instinctively solitary animals. They do not run in packs as dogs do. Therefore when
confronted with strange surroundings, a cat’s normal response is to withdraw physically and
mentally into a protected, solitary state. For this reason, cats enjoy the “protected” feeling
they get from being in their compartment while in a kennel.
Vaccinations required for boarding:
 Distemper Combo, Rabies, proof of negative FeLeuk/FIV test and proof of negative
Intestinal Parasite screen.
 Proof of current vaccinations is required for boarding.
You can bring your own food or use ours, the price is the same either way. We use Hills w/d
Prescription Diet. There is no need to bring bowls, we have plenty. We will provide your pet
with a fresh blanket daily, no bedding from home is needed. Medications are given by our
staff for a small fee. Please bring them in the original container clearly labeled with directions.
 Boarding charge is $15 per night (please note - boarding is for clients of Rainbow Pet
Care Center only).
 Boarding drop-off times are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - drop off by 5:30pm.
Thursday - drop off by 12:00pm.
We are open every other Saturday for pick-up (call ahead for dates).
 Reservations are required for all boarding stays.
 50% deposits are required for all boarding stays.
 We require a 3-day minimum for boarding.
