Aims of the course
At the end of the course, students must be able to:
-
Evaluate critically and correlate clinical symptoms, physical signs and functional alterations with
the pathogenetic causes of the main endocrine-metabolic diseases
Perform the anamnesis and the clinical examination with reference to endocrine-metabolic
pathologies
Recognize the epidemiological and socio-economic relevance of the main endocrine-metabolic
diseases
Show theoretical knowledge of the classification, etiopathogenesis, clinical picture and
therapeutic principles of digestive system, pancreas, liver and bile duct diseases
Acquire appropriate clinical approach modalities and the basic notions to interpret the main
laboratory, instrumental and imaging diagnostics tests related to such pathologies.
